Sivers reminds you that even very successful business people make big mistakes and inspires you to go easy yourself. A failure is not a failure. It's a discovery of yet another way things don't work.
I liked the little vignettes but really liked the performance by the author. Would recommend to anyone interested in the workings of a small one-man shop that, against all intentions, grew to a $20-million business. Neat little life pro tips too.
Being a small business owner myself and trying to find value in business while staying true to one's self AND how to install a mindset of customer first, ahead of personal wealth is golden and so eloquently shared by Derek . A nugget to cherish amongst the millions of crappy superficial business jargon books.
Loved the book. A very quick listening. Loved how he split his advices into 40 small chapters. Will recommend anyone who is self employed.
I really enjoyed this book. I've been reading Derek's blog for a while but didn't know the complete story of CD Baby. It was a wonderful story. I will listen to this again for sure.
Loved every minute of this. Wish it was on kindle. I try to listen to this at the start of every new year to remind me what is really important in business. Love what you do.
A great story and listen for anyone thinking about starting their own business or looking for more in their current position. Definitely worth getting fresh perspective.
I teach WordPress web design online, focusing on the *design* part - and fun:) I love learning new concepts, hence all these audiobooks;)
Short book. Okay values Derek has. Ones that I can agree with. He has heart and integrity in what he does.
Nothing earth-shattering. More about him than about your business – if you catch my drift.
