The narration was so good, I wanted to listen to more stories read by the readers. Big Neil Gaiman fan and this book was solid. Very dreamy: landscapes, mystery, the supernatural, mythology... A little bit of everything and you're sucked in. I wish there was a follow up.
Mr. Gaiman's assembled ensemble ambled through my brain for a few days.
They left a mess of muddy footprints, blood stains, & shattered illusions. Not to mention a few more voices to carry around in my skull.
The story was very entertaining and the full cast narration was excellent. Typical magical storytelling from Neil, well written and well delivered.
This is a great book I've read twice already. Listening to the full cast version brought some depth to the characters that I'm glad to have experienced. Highly recommend listening to it!
A wonderful weaving of folklore myth and fate. The main character is a shadow and a fool, walking his way through story and con and I was hopelessly caught up in the narrative.
this is simply a great book with some added extras like more book, great voice acting ,and notes from the author. buy this and thank me later.
This is a book that was hyped up by many of my friends. I was scared to read it for a long time because I feared that it would not live up to the praise that was heaped upon it. I'm glad I got this book.
The story is a weaving tale; part adventure, part horror, and part mythology. Shadow is your classic Everyman, so it is easy to get enveloped in the story and let it take you where it will.
The full cast production was very well done and fun to listen to. It helped with the drama and suspense and pulled me in from the start.
