The characters bring you into this book from the very beginning. When you think you see where the book is leading to it turns around and goes into another direction. Excellent reading well done!
This was my first experience to audiobooks and I love James Patterson's books, so this was a very pleasurable listen. I could not wait to get my earplugs in to listen each day. And hated to take them out. I think I would have listened straight through if I could have. This was my first book by JP that did not have Alex Cross in it. So it was different. Some parts are not too realistic but non the less a great book. The narration was great too. Really enjoyed it!
This sounds like a badly acted and scored radio play. The "reader" makes the protagonist sound moronic and the cheesy music is both distracting and undermining to the narrative. If you insist on utilizing this format, warn your customers!
Golly, this book and reader were as mundane and trite as a teenager journaling a nightmare.
The music was hokey and manipulative and every paragraph was a chapter.
I cringed every time the music started and there was a pause. So unbelievable and unlistenable.
I never critique, but this one was sooo bad.
Do not waste you time and money on this one. I gave it a try because of James Patterson. Also I had to rate it with one star. I preferred NO STARS. I was unable to finish it. It was boring and the narraration wasn't great.
I just couldn't put it down, It kept me hooked. The twist and turns just kept coming. Very good. I think this is one of James Patterson's best
I look to James Patterson for light escapism but I have to echo the people who gave this book a thumbs down. Never felt very connected to the character, too preposterous and the narrator and cheesy music were over the top bad.
I still get sucked into some of Patterson's series but will definitely be avoiding the collaberations.
Not worth your time.
I love James Patterson. So I expected this to be as beautiful and flowing as a James Patterson book but it is not. It is not that it a bad read just too predictable. Every jerk response in the world was played in this book. too bad.
I really liked this book..As usual James Patterson knows how to keep your attention. I couldn't put this book down. Or, rather stop listening to it. It was a definite page turner. I wasn't crazy about the Narrator, though. Didn't like her accents or the way she narrated it, but nonetheless, it was a great listen. I highly recommend it.
