I love the places I travel and the things I see through books.
I recommend this to anyone needing to mend the fragments of their life. This was profound even for me a life coach and PhD Psychology student. I still had wounds I was licking unaware. Thanks YaYa!
I loved it and highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone who is willing to make peace with themselves and others. This journey will teach you how to understand and deal with the pathologies of our lives.
This is not for the faint of heart. This book is for those who DARE to have the faith and courage for something new.
Iyanla's raw, truthful account of her journey to self.... An amazing book from an amazing soul!
Number 1 Wonderful!!!!!!!
It made me laugh, think and think.
I love this book with ALL OF MY HEART!! I have been a huge fan since the '90s where I've first seen Iyanla on the Oprah show. This amazing woman 's books have forever changed my life and continues to do so today! I've considered Iyanla my pocket mentor since I have not met her in person but someday I hope to meet her. She inspires me to be greater than I can imagine for myself and i choose a life of spiritual guidance as I am discovering needed changes and forgiveness for myself.
Thank you for your story and thank you for blessing me with your frankness and honesty.
I got the book after her appearance on Oprah back in 2011 and the book changed my life, it helped me get through a lot of things I was going through personally. the book helped me through a hard relationship I was experiencing as well as explained some of the feelings I felt about self-doubt. This book changed my life
This book helped me understand patterns of behavior that continue today, from the painful wounds of my past.
Iyanla's perspective on the topic of family pathology opened the door of insight for me.
I now understand, the scars and mis-direction that wreaked havoc in my adolescent years.
This book is an awesome read and once I finished I stated the following affirmations to myself , "there is work to be done". "I can do it". "I will be alright".
