I enjoy this time and consider it well spent exercising my imagination. I now have these other worlds to tell you about. I have value.
It is a good continuation of the story which began in the first book . The story is very well planned and you can tell someone did his homework before writing this. The narrator does an excellent job keeping the characters voices correct. I love the dog,Oberon. He is so funny and his personality is very much like a real Irish wolfhound. I know because there are two in my family. If you read the first book you definately dont need me to convince you to read this one. If not, let me say its better to read them in order but the author can get you up to speed if you just want to start here. Read it. Love it and laugh at it. Dont miss this one.
I like both versions of this book as the language is clever and the narrator actually seems to enjoy reading the story.
I can't go past Oberon wanting a treat for using fetishism in a sentence, although the RPGs were also memorable
Luke brings the characters to life
Yes, especially towards the end
Yes I would. Its a good story and very entertaining with action and sometimes funny.
All of it.
Luke Daniels's performance is awesome. Couldn't have picked a better narrator for this story.
Nothing, he is great.
Exciting, suspenseful, fun
Yes, Kevin Hearne has a knack for bringing old and new together with a touch of humor.
The author's knowledge of druidry and the humor
He does a great job on making different characters distinct
I laughed like crazy
I am going to read it again and have recommended it to everyone
I would........cause 8 hours seemed like only a few, the humor and the telling are awesome
Listened to book one and he still is awesome
now I'm hooked on this series for sure and look for more in future. This is all due to Lukes wonderful and delightful, did i say awesome superb reading ability. He makes the story so real and interesting, i can not put it down. Of course....coodoos to the author
not as good as the first in the series, but still quite a good listen. Probably Luke Daniels' credit more than Kevin Hearne's
very good characterization and accents.
not really, it's not a edge-of-the-seat kinda story. Although action driven, it's a bit more slow moving
I would reccomend the story for it's pure entertainment
Atticus Finch's first hand account of his trials and tribulations as he battles good and bad witches, Keeps his Gods and Goddesses at bay, and lives to fight and love another day.
Oberon, The Morgan, each of the supporting characters was well rounded and brought a depth to the story.
It was an exciting story with constant action - swords, sorcery - all in a contemporary setting.
I highly recommend the entire series to any fans of the genre.
Fast moving story with great characters.
Love the dog.
I've listened to all in the series and am waiting for the next one.
Witchcraft-the good and the bad.
The whole series is fun. Hurry up with more.
