As always Janet Evanovich has another winner and I love Lorelei King's narrations of her books. The combinations of Ms. Evanovich's writing and Ms. King's narration is as always a winning combination.
Stephanie is a bit sexier in this book, but still does't own her own eroticism. She blames her new found sexual urges on getting the "evil" eye. Plenty of Ranger and just enough Lula. Nice plot twists...three people trying to kill Stephanie at the same time.
Love all the much anticipated interaction with Ranger. Lula was a colorful as ever. I did miss seeing as much from Grandma is normally included.
The narrator of this book is lively and entertaining.
Pretty good book. Maybe a B+. I listen on my daily
walks and this one helped.
I expected more, this one lacked though/plot she just has Stephanie sleeping around and uses that to fill the pages instead of a plot.
Stephanie Plum and all her friends are my favorite characters ever! This lastest book is the funniest one yet! And, Lorelei King is the best narrator around. The voices she has for the characters are the greatest. I can't wait for the next Stephanie Plum book.
I like the series, it is easy listening and not overly thought provoking.
One thing however, is that the Lula schtick is getting old. We get it already. She is a big woman, still dresses like her old occupation and eats like there is no tomorrow. Its the same dialogue as the previous 16.
Maybe Lula needs to go away for a while and a new character brought in as a sidekick.
Janet Evanovich knocked it out of the park with her last Stephanie Plum novel. I'm hook all over again and can't wait until the next book is released. I love all the characters and feel like I know all the characters personally.
