our gator nation family has always followed tim tebow and i was thrilled to get his book and found it very helpful in terms of explaining how to walk in faith, and not be down on yourself but look for the positives. i also appreciated the game insights. many games that i saw and remembered the plays and he explained the behind the scenes circumstances. also, he was unable to beat our mighty mighty home team, the st. augustine yellow jackets, at any time in his high school career, so i like that he admitted what a downer that was! i loved this book!!!
Tim Tebow is a perfect example of what hard work and dedication will do. He is an awesome example for kids and adults to follow. The book is a fun and very inspiring, I highly recommend it.
Say something about yourself!
Tim has shown the world he is not a quitter. He also knows what he wants and goes and gets it. At first I thought what could be said about someone who is only in his mid twenties. Boy was I wrong. He has done and accomplished so much and has inspired others that I can't wait to see what happens next as he heads off to the NFL. The NFL needs more men like him as players and coaches so that our youth have solid role models.
Liberal, retired, special ed teacher teacher from California (quite the cliche ) now living near Montreal. I love to play and watch tennis
I love football and Tim Tebow has been a compelling player to watch since entering the NFL. Many times in the last 2 seasons I have found myself rooting for him (even though I'm a diehard Colts fan) but it was not hard not to root for such an unconventional player achieving success against long odds. However, In My Eyes is nothing short of nauseating in it's self serving immodest style. Tim Tebow is a world class braggart and his book is the antithesis of a compelling sports biography like Open: An Autobiography, where Andre Agassi is human and shares his successes, failures, doubts and flaws. This is not a story about a person who just happens to be a world class athlete, it's a preening Tebow looking at himself in the mirror and liking what he sees. Putting aside his right wing Christian take on everything, Tim Tebow is an extremely shallow person that I'll never root for again.
i read this book at work and i still feel cheated. i really like Tim Tebow as a person and love watching him play football. he is a good person and if he wright another book say in 20 or 30 years i will take the time to read it but as for this book dont wast your time.
