I wish I could return it to get my credit back, but audible won't let me.
The inane commentary by the editor is both distracting and insulting to the listener's intelligence.
We don't need to have it explained to us. Just let the book stand on it's own merits.
I am truly blessed by the treasure I've just par took. A wealth of knowledge, guidance, to say the least. Which is life changing. I will never be the same because my feel freed to walk in the dominion that God originally set man in position for. We have reason to fear any more. This information is timeless and should be in everyone's library who seek to live their lives to its fullest
I agree with many of the take-always of this book: live with purpose, power of thought, surround yourself with positive associations, and turn adversity into an opportunity. As a survivor of adversity and choosing to see the upside, I share some of the same messages in my books: When All Balls Drop & With New Eyes.
However, this was very long-winded. In fact, the dialogue between Hill & the Devil was very repetitive. Although I enjoyed hearing the editor's comments, I think it interrupted the story for me. I would suggest a shorter version and editorial add-ins less frequently.
In staying with the power of thought, here's to looking up!
The information was for everyone and I really enjoyed the idea of the interview. But some of the story (not the wisdom) seemed kind of off which is why I have the story 4 stars. Enjoy and God bless :-)
The value a reader can experience from this book will be measured by applying the knowledge within for personal self improvement.
The content is excellent. The more people who internalize these concepts, the better our lives, workplaces and world would be. Being familiar with Napoleon Hill, I found Sharon's interruptions annoying but do understand that for the mass of readers she felt it necessary to translate to today's environment and remind listeners of his times. Well worth your time to listen to this book. Please do
This is indeed the greatest piece of literature next to the bible itself that I've ever read/listened to!! When you mix this with the bible....the explosion of change is endless! Thank you Mr. Napoleon Hill and family!
