Dog lover & book addict.
I am really sad to say goodbye to the characters in this book series.
And some writers fizzle out during a series, but not Dean Koontz. He was strong from beginning to end. I think he really sits back and thinks about what his readers want and need from a story.
This was a satisfying and lovely end to a great series of books. Read/listen to them all. I promise you won't be sorry.
This is probably the best story since the first one the mill two aren't so good but I understand why he needed to put those in I would say the only downside to this audiobook is the performance umm..... Tell me why the guy reading it makes Jack a sound stupid fucking gay and he's a little bit over-the-top with the sound effects but if you can get over that like I did it's an amazing story
Loved this book. As do all his books, he pulls you into the story right from the beginning. Loved the colorful characters and how well they were brought to life. The narrator did a great job giving each character a voice that gave their personality life. Definitely would recommend the series to others. I have never come across a Koontz book I didn't like.
Dean Koontz always produces engrossing stories and the Frankenstein series was as good as any of them. Christopher Lane does a great job with the different voices for the different characters.
Love gritty mystery thrillers.
Good series but it kind of dragged on and the end needed more sizzle. Five books later us readers deserved a better final fight with victor. I like the happily ever afters with all the characters. My only question is (spoiler)
why did Erica survive?
