So be careful before buying it. La la la la la la la I hate these minimum. I just wish someone had warned me.
I have listened to over 250 books in the last 10 years. I tend to listen to certain authors and try to read all their books. I listen while exercising and driving which makes the time past enjoyable.
No, I never listen to a book twice. There are enough other good books to listen. But that is not to say it was not good.
The rest of the Vince Flynn's books.
NO, but He was apporpriate for the book. I had no problem following the characters.
I wish Audible would note the orginal book publishing date. This was published orginally in 2000. Especially in books that are a series.
Great story! Plan on either reading or listening to Separation of Power immediately afterwords. If you don't then the ending to this will be a little disappointing. Basically it ends with some loose ends that need to be tied up and it is all continued in the next book. Nick Sullivan does a good job.
I love books!
fairly predictable but if you like Vince Flynn and Mitch Rapp then you'll like this one as well.
Third Option was disappointing after reading The Assassin, especially the ending, which is abrupt. The plot essentially is about the politics and backstabbing in Washington, the politicians being the true terrorists.
yes, I didn't want to put it down.
the characters, plot, . . . I was disappointed when I finished reading it. I wanted more!
No, but I'll try to find others.
This was the first Mitch Rapp book I've read. I'll be looking for all of the others!!
Yes, it is a good story, edge of the seat stuff, with some good laughs mixed in.
It is in the vain of the Mitch Rapp series and if you like American Assassin or Transfer of Power you will not be dissappointed here.
I listened to Transfer of power before this one and I was used to him, by this book. He is OK.
The only problem with this audible book is they never finished reading the last three chapters for the download, or there is a part 3 that never got delivered. Tom V.
I'm a fan of the series and thoroughly enjoyed this book up until the end, at which point the novel just stopped with major unresolved issues. It almost seems that the author's intent was to serialize what could have been one fat juicy novel. I even called Audible to make sure I had downloaded the entire book.
Good book until the end. I'm sure I will read the next in the series, but ask the author to be a little more honest with his readers.
Boring story plot, almost feminine quality of narrator (male voice) makes the whole story sound really panzied out. I expect the tone and inflection of the narrator to toughen the character, in this case, Mitch sounds like a panzy through out
