Is actually listened to all the other Vince Flynn books prior to this. It's a great introduction to the whole cast of characters minus Mitch Rapp.
TERM LIMITS always seems to ramp up just when I'm about to put it down. Even though I knew good would prevail over evil it kept me wondering how it would occur and how bad evil could get.
There were some hokey parts such as COS addressing POTUS by first name.
Overall I give it 4.3.
I've read this book multiple times. Listening in audio format was even more enjoyable. An exciting read with an interesting story line.
An exceptional book taking us back to a story before Mitch Rapp. What a great series by a dearly missed American Patriot who could see into the future of our history and the failings of our Government. It was hard to get used to Sullivans narration. He is no George Guidall that's for sure. God Bless the clandestine services of the various agencies!
Yes, it was a little cliche and could have used a few more plot twists, but i found it to be an enjoyable political thriller. It was still a fun book and a good way to pass the time. However, the author was a little too didactic, and needs to value human life a little more than economics. I'll always value the sanctity of life above political or economic views.
This book was probably one of my favorite Flynn books. In our current political climate it makes you wonder how shady some of the political dealings really are in our government. It's a great " good guys win" book. I've recommended it to several friends and they're Vince Flynn fans now.
Vince Flynn's conservative roots really shine through in his first book. That being said, it is a good first yarn. The stereo types that plague his latest books find their origins here's why does every politician need a limo? It is the genesis of the Mitch Rapp series. If you love the series, you should read or listen to this one.
