I assume the military technology is as dated as the pagers. but it is still an interesting premiss and a fairly good story. no surprises.
excellent story excellent performance enjoyed it from start to finish and I highly recommend it
No, there are no good guys in this book. I expected a good vs. evil story and got evil vs. more evil. Not the author's best effort.
Well crafted plot exposes seedier sides of politics and unchecked personal ambition. Flynn, like Brad Thor often punish the CIA and FBI, but they come off as competently practical in dealing with issues that could fracture the government. Hard to stop listening.
This is by far one of the best books I have listened too in over 300 books in my library. The plot is fantastic and in our political times, very relevant.
This is one book you respect the assassins and despise the characters that we should admire.
Only if it's the only way to listen to a book by an author I really like.
I put off reading this audiobook for quite awhile in part because it was the only Vince Flynn I had left to read, but largely because of the narrator. Indeed for the first ⅔ of the book, I didn't like him at all. But then the story took off and I forgot about the narrator and couldn't put the audiobook down (or turn it off).
BECAUSE....the story is spellbinding....and could or might take place..
ALL...but the story is the star
it terrifies me...this could happen, may be happening now, did happen?
on my list as great story
