Love Betty White!
Since it's mostly a selection of short essays that are rather autobiographical, I would say it's similar to "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me (And Other Concerns)" by Mindy Kaling, and also to "Bossy Pants" by Tina Fey.
I'm not very emotional, so no. But it was very cute when she'd mention her late husband Allen Ludden.
Random thoughts bounce you back and forth in time and places of Betty White. How Betty approaches work and her passions in life is what this book is about. Wish this book was more in depth, but that being said, can't help but to love Betty.
Thank God for Audio books and audible!
We Love Betty!
I learned a lot about Betty, Of course her love and devotion to animals is moving and shows how wonderful and loving a person she truly is, but I did not know she collects stuffed animals and LOVES Crossword puzzles. Oh, and next time I'm at Pinks I will for sure order a NAKED BETTY WHITE Hot dog!! :-)
I've loved her since The Mary Tyler Moore show and I've seen her recently on old black and white game shows from the 1950's. SHE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I think she still is.
I enjoyed being a part of Betty White's world for a little while. listening to her talk was enjoyable the book itself was okay
Betty White kept me laughing. I plan on listening to the book again. I recommend this book to all Betty White fans or those who are interested in learning more about Betty White.
What is there to say? Everyone loves Betty White! This is the first book of hers that I've read but I fully intend on reading all of them. Thank you for your humorous, insightful and loving view on life. Betty is a true classy lady and it's no wonder she's adored by all, especially our animal friends.
I don't enjoy it.
Disappointment. No enlightenment at all.
Only appealing to her fans. No "elderly wisdom" as I expected.
I Loved this book! She tells such great stories that will make you laugh and think! Great advise from a legend and wonderful insight on who this amazing, beautiful, honest, sweet woman really is! Love you Betty, wish I could meet you and give you a really big hug!!
