Each one of the series is fantastic. I love Stephanie plum! Well read, great story, and this book will make you laugh.
I have read 3 in this series and they never get old. Granny is my favorite character, she is a hoot.
The most inept bounty hunter is back. If you need to listen to a book that has a bunch of delightful characters and funny situations then this is a good one to listen to. Stephanie Plum gets herself into a new set of funny situations while she hunts down her skips. The whole gang is back, sexy hunks Ranger and Morelli, a laugh a minute Lula and all the rest.
Not reading for knowledge here. I always seem to use the word Fun when describing the books in this series. Once again - fun.
Mo meets match.
Lula is my favorite character. She has spunk and makes me laugh.
I would listen to another book by CJ Critt. She has an older, possibly smokers voice and I don't think it fits Stephanie's character very well, but she does a decent job. Her voices for the other characters aren't bad. I have listened to the other books in the series that she has done and I don't feel it detracts from the story.
No. I enjoyed the book, but I didn't need to listen to it all in one sitting. It was enjoyable, but not riveting.
This is a fun addition to the Stephanie Plum series. It's worth a listen.
No spoilers! Love HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. I also review in exchange for books-lots of fun surprises!
Yes, its fun and there is a lot of humor even though the story revolves around the investigation of 9 murder victims!
Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back. The brassy babe in the powder blue Buick has been given the unpopular task of finding Mo Bedemier, Trenton's most beloved citizen, arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, gone no-show for his court appearance. Once again, the entire One for the Money crew is in action, searching for Mo, tripping down a trail littered with dead drug dealers, leading Stephanie to suspect Mo may be in over his head.
Yes, not the best narration. Listening on 1 1/2 speed made it MUCH better.
No, I listened to an hour or two at a time until the end when I listened to the last 3 hours to wrap it up.
NOTE: Strong language
Yes. I find the author's style is hilarious.
Dinner with Stephanie's parents. Her Grwndma had a potential male suitor. You have to read the book to find out what happened.
She is my favorite narrator.
I think the whole series should be made into a tv series.
Can't wait to start the next book in the series.
The story started out poorly for me as I did not care for the narrator. The tone and sound of the voice did not suit the character and it threw me off. There was nothing about it that kept me wanting to hear more. I finished it as I usually dol even though I may not care for the book. The story line felt immature to me, nothing challenging about it at all. I've read a few of Janet's books before and thoroughly enjoyed them. Would not recommend this one.
