I really enjoyed listening to this book on my commute to work. I felt much more productive.
I never really thought of my mind as a battlefield. This book made me more aware of my thoughts.
I have never listened to any of Pat Lentz's other performances. I thought she did a great job however I would have preferred to hear the book narrated by the author, Joyce Meyer.
Right up there with "What the Bible is all about" by Henrietta C. Mears., one of my all time fav's!!!
The many things we share in common as human beings, and as children of God.
Pat Lentz was nice to hear, however, I would have preferred to have heard Joyce's voice throughout the entirety of the audio book.
I can honestly say "yes"!
My wife & I really enjoy being blessed by Joyce Myers ministries!!
The voice was easy to listen to without putting me to sleep.
The purpose of the book was my favorite 'character.' It's always amazing when you think you know all you need to know about your religion and then you hear/read something that makes your perscpective grow & your faith stronger.
The narrator brought a mellow voice with highs & lows when necessary. Had I read the book on my own (just once or twice) I would not emphasize the points she did, but it made a big difference...I'm going to read the book also at a later time.
YES!! I work 7.5 hours/day & the book is over 6 hours...I really wanted to get lost in the moment for a full work day. It didn't work out the way I planned (nothing in life does-LOL) so I found myself listening in the car & at work. The pause and 30 sec rewind button were my bestfriend.
I will listen to this book many more times!!!
Awesome, Anointed, Blessings
No not at all.
The whole book.
This book, makes me think about the things, i think about.
This book is a blessing to me, i know that i have to gaurd my heart, and think about the things that i am thinking about.
It seemed like this book (audio) hit all the key aspects in my life that i am currently going through and even issue that happened in my past. she brought up points that i knew about, but since someone actually said it- it brought those thoughts from the back of my mind to the forefront.
Very practical. Honest advice. Helpful information.
Books by other Word of Faith and/or charismatic leaders, such as Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, etc. They have the same general style of communication. If you want practical application of the Bible, with a strong motivational thrust, I recommend this flavor of religion.
I like her voice better that the author's. She is much more pleasant to listen to.
Sometimes, the content of the book is really funny.
I recommend this book to anyone without any reservation.
I've already listened to it twice!
everything was encouraging so it's hard to choose just 1.
all of them!
This is a very thought provoking book. I enjoyed the audio version, and the reader does an excellent job, but would have rathered it was the author herself. Joyce has a way of bringing things alive that she verbalizes, and I think she would had added expression to this audio only she could.
Woman thou Art loosed
She brings a different voice. I would have preferred the author's voice.
Free your mind
my only disappointment is that the book was not narrated by the author.
I am a miracle worker. Doing what I can to choose love over fear.
I have not read the printed version. If you have reduced vision: Do NOT let the narrator stop you! I bought this because I wanted a scripture-based listen: And boy! This is what I hoped "Everyday a Friday" by Joel Osteen would be like. I returned Joel's book because it did not have enough scriptures. This on the other hand is filled. My advice: Take the scriptures out while listening so you can see for yourself. This book is not done in one sitting: I used three days on this. Still, I will be going back again and again.
You can change your thoughts.
No, I do wish they used another narrator… This is after all and updated edition
No. I rather come back!
Every. Christian need this audiobook.
