I was really happy to find that the sequel to If I Stay was written from Adam's perspective. It gave the overall story a nice balance and depth. Like the first, it was is beautifully written and narrated. A great follow up!
OK I am not sure if a book has ever had me on such an emotional roller coaster. I was so literally mad at points I almost stopped reading! I could not believe how these characters were acting but yet also understood totally! Author Gayle Forman is totally brilliant in so many ways that I cannot even begin to express how I feel about her writing. This book is by far the best book I have read in a long time emotional wise. I do not, as a rule, read "real life books". I get enough real life every single day. I try to stick with "that could never happen in a million years kind of books". I like to escape from life, not relive it when I read. HOWEVER...I loved the first book and there was NO WAY I could pass up finding out how this story played out. I AM SO GLAD I kept going. WELL DONE GAYLE WELL DONE!
Not what I expected
When you realize they are getting back together
Great, enjoyed listening and dont feel the need to go see the movie
It's part two of the story of if I stay. It's very good.
I could picture the character, so I would say his performance was right on.
It is ...Where she went...
Never trust anyone who doesn't enjoy reading.
Top 5 for sure (when combined with If I Stay)
Umm duh, Adam!!!
He was perfect for the part of Adam!
First off, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT read the synopsis for this 2nd book before you finish If I Stay!
Where She Went ties everything together from If I Stay. Together these 2 books make for a beautiful story that I will remember forever!
This book stands alone. I know it is the sequel to If I Stay, but really you didn't have to have read it to know what was going on. I really enjoyed having this book come from Adams prospective.
I loved Dan Bittner's performance! I didn't want it to end.
I did cry towards the end. I don't want to spoil anything.
Say something about yourself!
I don't know, I did not read the print version, but I can imagine it would be better due to Dan Bittner's excellent performance.
I loved the perspective of Alex's life and where he ended up.
Yes, I love Dan Bittner, he is the perfect young-adult male voice. "Walking Disaster" is also an excellent performance of his but I think "Where She Went" has been my favorite.
Laughed a little, but I think my overall reaction was to just become entirely engaged in the story.
Listening to this book was as entertaining as watching a movie.
I purchased this audiobook the minute I saw it was out and available on audio. It is a sequel to "If I Stay" and I am sorry to have to say that I was a little disappointed with it. I loved "If I Stay" but this one just didn't have the charm and poignancy the first book had. It felt flat - especially when compared to it predecessor. Still I'm glad I bought it because even though I knew "Where she went" I really wanted to know what happened when she got there.
I have a book addiction and an 2 hour commute, thank god for the sanity of audible
solid top 1/3 of the good pile
If I stay???
Adam, the main character.
Find out what happened to Mia? IDK i hate these types of questions
