I was really happy to find that the sequel to If I Stay was written from Adam's perspective. It gave the overall story a nice balance and depth. Like the first, it was is beautifully written and narrated. A great follow up!

I didn't read the first book, just saw the movie, because a friend told me that the hospital part is a bit tiring, but this one is GREAT! I REALLY liked it!!!
this story is so raw, so emotional and captivating. gayle forman has an amazing talent for writing a guys point of view. i loved just one year and now where she went came to solidify my admiration for her writing style and talent. where she went is beautiful, the readers suffer along with adam wilde as if we were feeling his pain. i loved the book and had to get the audiobook to keep the story fresh in my mind and was pleasantly surprise to find out it is narrated by dan bittner who also narrated walking disaster, a book a like a lot.
dan bittner did an amazing job as adam wilde.
one bad thing about the audiobook is that we dont get to know about the songs adam wrote 3 years after he left the band. it is on the book, not on the audio... so 3 years later, the reporter from shuffle writes an article about adam wilde new solo album... songs written during his 2nd black hole period and the songs are simply amazing... goosebumps-type-of-amazing.
one has to read the book to know!
Loved the book! Couldn't stop listening to it! I finished it within 20 hours! Didn't mind the narrator's voice. There was some weirdness with the last 2 chapters though. Every once in a while an excerpt would come where you could tell that the audio recording was different. As if it was done at a later time and added in. Didn't change the story at all. But it was weird!
I have not read the print version so I could not compare
When Mia thought she had lost him on the bridge
Monotone, plain, regular
When they reunited
i love if i stay and i wanted to know what happened after she woke up. i like how there are flash backs (just like if i stay). how adam and mia felt the same with eachother for years. i liked how mia's personally came out more. i love the story, that no matter what there is that one true love.
