Just like you, I spend my money here and am not on any author's payroll :)
Monotonic narration by [redacted] concerning [redacted] and [obfuscated] could cause listener to fall asleep quickly. Wish I could make some money reading boring memoranda in detail all the way down to the index. Narrator could read IRS tax form instructions in detail and it would be more interesting than this.
Governor, next time you may want to write about your days jumping off the top rope onto Hulk Hogan - it would be far more interesting and entertaining.
don't get me wrong...I love Jesse Ventura and his books but all this conspiracy stuff is taking away his credibility. I would rather have his opinion of these documents and research behind them rather than listening to someone read these boring documents. Kind of a lazy effort and it shows.
Many of items are probably new to those who don't study or research our own history much... theses are a useful survey across the government most rarely watch.
It's very well documented, but the narrator is as exciting as plywood, and I'm losing complete interest, I have to force myself to finish to listen to it. It would have been GREAT if it was read by Mr. Ventura himself, he is so interesting and passionate when he speaks.
Not in the audible format, maybe the real book.
Depends on the type of book. Don't get me wrong, he has a great voice, but too monotone for this kind of book.
more ventura reading the thing!
Dick russel is more compelling
nah i had enough
if you have to say the word redacted more than 100 hundred times maybe its not a audiobook.
History records no more gallant struggle than that of humanity against the truth.
Probably better in print version for visuals of documents.
After 1 chapter I had to stop. The Narrator is so dry that
I hear Jesse on cable TV, and on Howard Stern. He is able to get his points across quite understandably and intelligently, so why doesn't he narrate his own books? This could have been an excellent listen since when Gov. Ventura spoke, everyone listened. They might not have all liked what he said, because he never pulled his punches, but everyone tuned in. I really wanted to hear Jesse speak his own words, with his own emotions and in his own style.
