"Leave you wanting more"
Yes because I had the opportunity to read the unabridged edition.
information leading up to more future books
No. But I really enjoyed this one and am looking forward to future Books.
NO hardly, had other things to do, but enjoyed it anyway.
Love her books she is my favorite author, and look forward to further unabridged editions.
"suspense"
top of my list
Can't say just yet - I have another 10 chapters to go and can't wait for the end.
too many to mention
can't think of one yet.
My husband and I are listening to this book while we drive. I find myself looking for errands to do so we can drive and listen. We have a 45 minute drive each way to work . Crunch Time makes the time fly - even if stuck in traffic.I love the way the narrator changes voices for the different characters. This audible book is fantastic. I have read or listened to all of Goldie's books as they become available! When is the next book due. We were talking this morning wondering if this would ever be made into a movie. It would be a must see.
"Kind of slow"
I am glad I tried this author out because now I know her style. She is very detailed and draws the story out way too much.
"Classic Davidson!"
This book is classic Davidson. The characters are rich, the story is at the same time normal for the series, while bringing a host of new elements into play. If you love a series in which the growth and change of the characters is plainly evident, this series is for you. I couldn't stop listening to this book!!!
"Diane Mott Davidson is ALWAYS a GOOD READ!"
This story witll not disappoint you at all! I loved this book as much as I have the other books by Diane Mott Davidson. Goldy is always entertaining! I also appreciate the realistic depiction of the Episcopalian church/religion. The title is a play on words for the theme/plot. This book is worth the read. I only wish Mott Davidson would write more books! I cannot get enough of Goldy's antics.
Instead of whistling while I work, I listen! I have my audible set up on my phone and comes through my blue tooth. I get so much done!!
"I always end up baking and craving espresso!"
Diane is wonderful at weaving murder, suspense, and wonderful food! Her description of frothing milk for a latte or espresso makes your mouth water....and the baked goods are ridiculously scrumptious! Barbara Rosenblat is one of my top 3 narrators! I love her!!!
"Crunch Time"
Love the Goldie series, another hit for Diane Mott Davidson. Loved the ending that left a question in the air. Also, Barbra Rosenblatt is my favorite narrator.

"Very Disappointing"
I love this author, but this story does not including any of the catering events that she usually writes into the story and there was very little about her husband, son and friend Marla.
"zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"
Good God this is tedious. Is it really necessary to describe in painstakingly detail actions such as taking cookies out of the oven, or putting a car into drive? Nine chapters into it and NOTHING has happened. I'm bored out of my skull and moving on.

"ick"
While these books have provided me with hours of escape in the past, not this one. I think Ms. Davidson must have been on autopilot when she penned it. It was as if she couldn't figure out where to go, so she listed everything that was going on and what happened--she didn't tell a story. Wrong to do this to followers and people who need a bit of ghoulish fun. Shame.
