I thought that this story had some funny moments throughout. Not quite believable but still the story was quick and had something (action) going on that made it move along. I like how the vampire was a little nerdy with his career (I don't want to spoil it) I would have liked to know a little more about some things but maybe that's for another book.
As a read yes, as an audio...not so much.
Vampire Sex...no spoilers from me.
Not sure, it just seemed flat.
Not really, I think it's a neat idea and should let the reader imagine where it ends.
The book was pretty good but some of the voices were just awful. This made it a little difficult to listen. I needed a book to fill in a gap in between a pre order.
For the lead female character not to have been so blind and stupid. She was not the only one, but she was the worst. I was very frustrated with the way the author drew out the lack of understanding in so many instances where the connections were obvious. There was only one instance towards the end where she made an obvious connection, then didn't follow it through.
Glad it was over.
Sure, it was fine.
It would have to be a very, very bad book for me to not finish it. This was not that bad, but it came close.
I was trying this author for the first time and have now been convinced not to read anything else from her again.

some semi-literate teenager.
she was incapable of pulling off a man's part and her women were stiff and /or valley girl.
she tried her best but she can't handle accents very well: her scotsmen kept lapsing into russian.
the author. the females were all pretty simple minded and weak willed.
if this was a first attempt: nice try, but i don't want to pay for first trys.
Whats to tell I am your avarage 30something, with kids, a husband, job and life. Besides that I drive a lot and love to listen to books instead of the radio. I will stay up until 3am in bed listening if the book is worth it, and I have also been known to return a couple of books that I could not get threw the first chapter. I am a bad speller so I apoligize for it now, but will be honest about my reviews.
This is a pretty good story, the narrator was pretty good with all the characters. The really only downfall of the book was the use of gods blood, it was used so much almost every 10 to 15 words. It almost was almost a deal breaker. which is really sad cause the story was pretty good a little to predictable but still good. I will try the next one, only cause I am always looking for a good series, but if there are just as much gods blood lines I will look for another series. Buy on sale....Credit not well spent so far....waiting to see.
I am a retired Court Reporter and I LOVE books. All kinds of books but my favorites are mysteries and period books. I like civil war books and some biographies.
From the moment you start listening you will be hooked. It has romance, humor, mystery and so much more. I listened to it in one day. I love being able to laugh and cry in the same book. Each characterd was well done. It's a fun read.
