Love, dispare and fulfillment.
All (only 6) of the Virgin River Series that I have read have the same story line. Man meets women, one or both have issues but they find love and have bumps along the way. Just enough issues and love to keep you listening.
Yes. She is great!
Mad me laugh, made me cry.
Have read the majority of the Virgin River Series. This particular book held my interest as I am going through a life-changing transition as the result of an accident just like one of the characters. I enjoyed the gardening trend in the story. All the characters are always so likeable. Reading is one of the few interests I can enjoy right now and these books take me away--like the old commercial--"Calgon, take me away". (Showing my age, I know) Now, onto the next one...
I havén't listened to a lot of audios yet, but can say that this book is really enjoyable, and is amongst the top ones have heard so far.
Yes, cannot say why. All I can say is that I looked forward to listening to this audio every night until it was finished.
Yes. It deals with issues that could be considered current issues.
I love all the Virgin River characters but Jack and Mel are my favorites.
Hard to tell. I do love the descriptions of the beauty of the scenery.
No extreme reactions--just lots of touching moments.
This series always makes me realize how wonderful life can be when people work together.
Good except Colin
I do not know any of the narrators. However I do know if I am supposed to be falling in love with a hot man, as described, that voice would turn me off. He sounded like a 100 year old man, not a sexy guy. I almost stopped reading the book because of his voice.
Believer in what you can't see
Yes, in fact I listen to this book on a library site and then liked the series so much that I bought it.
Jillie Organic farms and Colins falling in love with Jillies.
Everything to the audiobook. It is her voice that brings Virgin River characters to life.
A story that everyone can relate to and characters you can fall in love with.
I have all of Virgin River books and audiobooks, and can't wait for the next book comes out.
I really thought I had a winner UNTIL the "sexy" descriptions started that wanted to make me toss up my lunch, by the time the story turned the page to the "Native American" twist, so VERY clearly done in tunnel vision I turned my player off and will not finish it.
I have to wonder how it ever got published, sad. Very sad.
No, but I am not sure I will ever look at this author again.
Oh PLEASE - NO!
Think people! Writing should be done as people actually think and act in situations. If I want things to "heat up" in a love scene - I want it believable !
Just a good story
I really connected to the main character when she was planting the garden. I cried right along with her
I have listened to several Therese Plummer narrations and I really like the emotion she brings to the stories. I feel the joy, sadness or whatever right along with her.
This was a lovely read from the romance genre. I will definitely add Robyn Carr to the list of my favorite authors in the genre along with Lisa Kleypas and Nora Roberts.
