This is another great edition to the series, the character building worked really well. I can't believe I didn't figure out who agent Franks was earlier lol. Overall I'm hooked and downloading book 3 asap.
No. It's not all that bad. It's a pulpy action book. It just could have been set in a highschool based on the trite interactions and relationships of the characters.
Nothing. Oliver did fine.
...some things you didn't know you wanted to know. I love the characters and I truly hate to see when important ones die. The Narrator is really good as well.
action fast paces and good characters
easy to listen to and kepted you wanting more
i love everything i have listeded to of his
I'm a web developer based out of Sacramento, I listen to books while I work, and love audible.
This one was like an action flick that just has little too much action, to the point where you get tired of seeing it. It's rare for that to happen, but that's what this book does. And the hero is a bit too "tough" guy, being pissed at people that he really doesn't need to be pissed at. But overall it's till a fun read and I hear the next one is better.
YEP. I mean this stuff is cheesy but like in the way the show Arrow is bad but good. It's so action moviey and filled with tropes and cliches but FUN. You can't tell if the author aware of how bad is it but I hope not because that's kinda what makes it good. I went from the 1st book immediately to the second, the third one lost me a bit because it shifts main characters from the big dumb hero to the cheesy southern accent father figure but I might be sucked back in if the mood strikes.
