My wife and I started listening to this on our recent road trip and start laughing from the get go. Unfortunately, there was too much swearing and the humor was too crude. So we had to stop listening to it. It was a shame because she is very funny.
If you don't mind people staring as you exercise, because you are often chuckling, reacting to funniness only you can hear, get this book. Fey's observations are clear, and you'll come away liking her even more than you aleady do. Big problems with the production values, though. Was this recorded in her garage with a cheap mic? The horrible audio echo that accompanies her wry delivery distracts throughout.
I am 35 minutes in and I have reverted to lightly smiling rather than laughing my head off. This is because every single muscle related to laughing is hurting, and if I smile any wider my dimples hurt. Worth it.
Know that if you listen to this in public you will laugh out loud and someone might think you are a crazy person.
Aside from her great delivery and humor I also enjoyed the behind the scenes stories from SNL and 30 Rock.
I love how Tina Fey does not take herself too seriously.
I honestly don't think that I have ever read anything like it.
She is very much not caught up in her own celebrity. She comes across like someone down the hall or a few houses down telling you about herself.
Sometimes I had to stop the book or go back because I was laughing too hard to follow the story!
This one is a great way to pass the time. I have listened to it twice and it was even funnier the second time!
I've seen a few episodes of 30 Rock, and loved the skits as Sarah Palin on SNL, but I was not expecting this book to be outrageously entertaining. Silly me. There were moments when I laughed so hard, it hurt.
my book club chose this book, or I never would have read it. Tina Fey certainly had an interesting life, and she tells it very well. I just really don't care. I did learn some interesting things about the television world and how it really works....
Listening to Tina Fey's account of her life so far was really interesting in and, as you would expect from a skilled comedian, very entertaining. I highly recommend this audiobook. Thanks, Tina!

Very enjoyable, light and airy story with some good belly laughs throughout. Ending seems to drag out a bit, but not too bad.
