I loved this book very much. I think the only real way to expreince this book is through audio. I recomend it to anyone who likes Fey or women comidiens. Its smart, and funny, and sweet. Hurrah Funny Women and Hurrah for Tina Fey

Parts of this made me laugh out loud and parts of it were boring. Overall I would recommend it to those of us who are looking for a light distraction from the angst and grind of our daily lives. Even my 19 year old son enjoyed listening to this and actually said he wants to "read the book in print" ( He doesn't read many books). It is anti-intellectual which is also a relief.
I laughed so hard I cried several times when reading this book. I listened on the way to work and did not want to get out of the car in order to keep listening. The great thing about Tina Fey is that she is able to be absolutely hilarious without putting people down. Brilliant.
Very funny !! I once listen for eight straight hrs. on my cell phone and google-ing every single thing I could get on tina fey!
I really want to give this five stars. The content is funny, well written, and sharp. Tina Fey reads it and does a great job of doing so, BUT, whoever did the audio editing just doesn't seem to know what they are doing. At least in this Audible version at the end of many paragraphs the sound ramps down so her last word or two gets really quiet by the end of the word. This is annoying and distracting. I've listened to TONS of audiobooks and I've never heard one that does this, at least not so consistently. Otherwise, it's pretty great, especially if you are a Tina Fey / 30 Rock fan.
This book is at it's best when relating hilarious personal accounts of growing up and trying to make it in comedy. It starts loosing it's edge in the second half when it dips into social commentary.
The production seems kind of rushed with some bits being almost inaudible, sometimes intentionally as an aside or punchline, sometimes like they just didn't have time for a second take.
If you are a Tina Fey fan, it's definitely worth a listen.
Tina Fey is talented, honest, outrageous. But she reads this all out a bit too fast and furious. I kept wondering whether she isn't better in dialogue, this monologue/reading feels a bit flat. Three stars for the performance, four for the content.
My new favorite quote: "When Oprah Winfrey is suggesting that you have over-extended yourself, you need to examine your F---ing life." Haha! Fey has an amazing ability to state things well and simply and hilariously. I love her life observations. Well done!
Tina! You're too funny! Really enjoyed this, especially with her little sidebars. There were parts where I almost had to pull over I was laughing so hard.
I listened to this audiobook mainly while at the gym and found myself genuinely laughing out loud, it was hilarious. Tina Fey is easy to relate to and interesting to listen to.
