This was my first audiobook and I found it easy to listen to. I have ordered a few more to try.
Funny, smart, real
Made me really laugh out loud.
I especially liked that she read her own book, added special touches for audible listeners (like the entire SNL Palin sketch instead of a transcript), and used her own inflections and voice to convey meanings a reader might miss.
Recommend you LISTEN to this, although the PDF photos are quite a treat.
I don't think I would read another book by Tina Fey. If it was a fiction story it might be good.
I would have liked to hear more about her being a mother.
I really enjoyed her voice as a reader. She should become the voice for other audio books.
Yes, because of Tina being the narrator.
Tina, of course!
This selection was well worth using an Audible credit
Made me laugh
Sarah Palin, Tina Fey's impression of Sarah is funny!
I did have an extreme reaction. Of the LOL type.
A school administrator and avid reader and listener of books. At least an hour of every day is spent in the car, and that's where the bulk of my listening is done. I tend to listen to books on "faster" mode so I can get through more books!
Tina does an excellent job of narrating this memoir, giving us a glimpse into her zany life and views. I had such higher expectations for it based on SNL and 30 Rock, and found it didn't reach those expectations. I certainly was amused and giggled along the way, but just quickly. There was no gut-splitting laughter. In this book Tina Fey comes across just as down-to-earth as she seems on tv and in interviews and I appreciate that.

Tina Fey hit a homerun with Bossypants. A great listen for nearly anyone. Funny yet seriously serious at times too.
Hmm...I'm not sure I have another book in my mind to compare this one to.
Yes. This is the best so far.
I laughed out loud on several occassions.
Totally worth it!
Tina Fey reading the book and her funny spin on her experiences
She adds her impressions, prounciations. It felt like she was telling me all about her life, felt more personal.
I may gush a bit here but I really love this women in everything she does. She is smart, witty and realistic. She puts herself down a bunch (as everyone does) and she is willing to share it. She is willing to be the butt of any joke and stands up proudly for the person she has become over the years even though she is the first person to admit she is nowhere near perfect. I loved this book and I will literally buy anything else she is has anything else to do with. If I had a role model it would be her! Don't get me wrong I am an adult woman and I don't have t-shirts or posters of her, but I just truly appreciate that there is someone in the public eye with her personalty.
