It was funny. I laughed right out loud. I love her delivery. I have shared this book with others.
Carol Burnett's autobiography as it was also comical.
The delivery! The timing. Her side comments are histerical and I think you would lose that in reading it.
Yes. I laughed. I was traveling at the time and had people looking my way but didn't care he he
I would definitely recommend it.
Tina Fey's life story - told by her. She is a funny lady.
Tina Fey narrated her own story.
It felt like she was in the car with me telling the stories.
Stories about her Father - that's Don Fey!
Maybe. It is not the kind of book that grabs you. It is an autobiography and is entertaining but not a book that you can't put down.
Not sure since I don't usually read autobiographies but I will be getting Rod Stewart's next.
I liked that she brings herself to life. She has a witty and irreverent style. Very engaging.
I found it refreshing that she came to the aid of her gay friends and never changed her opinion about one's freedom to be who they are.
This was a great book to listen to while traveling down the road. It was funny, engaging, thought provoking at times and yes, after listening I even wanted to share it with my mom and sisters!
Well that would be Tina Fey because the book is by Tina Fey, about Tina Fey and read by...you guessed it...Tina Fey!
I am from the Charlottesville, VA area where, after listening to this book I learned Tina went to college. I thought the parts about her time there literally hit close to home. I also enjoyed hearing her story about her father and her thoughts on parenting today.
I was driving in a car for 6 hours, so this filled the time perfectly. I actually had wished it was longer but alas it was not.
The fact that Tina reads her book makes it all the more enjoyable.
I loved how she spoke to the listener throughout. Great stories!
If she was reading, yes. If it were more anecdotes from her life, no!
No Easy Day
Her father at the New York Airport
Only for die hard fans. A collections of anecdotes that aren't really all that interesting.
Only if they are Saturday Night Live fans and like Tina Fey. And like this type of book.
I just couldn't get into this book. I would go for days without picking up my ipod to listen to it. I like Tina Fey and I loved her impersonation of Sara Palin. And I think there were some interesting parts to it, but it's just not something that held my interest. I am about half way through it and probably will not finish listening to it. Sorry, Tina.
Yes. There were many pithy comments, funny stories, and witty remarks that I may have missed. I would love to go back and make sure I didn't miss anything.
I loved that she kept calling her nanny a babysitter and then says that she definitely has a nanny, but it gives her race anxiety to call her that. She's very honest.
I laughed a lot. I was also moved by many of her comments about women and their experiences.
