I love that it was narrated by the author Tina Fey
Very funny, I definitely laughed out loud. The ending got a little dull though.
I absolutely loved this book, even more I love that Tina Fey read the book so her personality seeps through and through. Had me laughing the whole time.
The random little stories and the background on her family, specifically her dad.
All of them!
I loved hearing the story from Tina Fey herself. I felt like we were having a really great conversation.
Heartfelt, hilarious, and down-to-earth. This audiobook is Tina Fey at her best. Hearing her words in her own voice is a great treat. From childhood to the 2008 Elections, Tina Fey provides a great account of her life, ambitions, and fears.
I love Tina Fey and wanted to like this book but after many attempts to listen to the book, I simply cannot. I end up turning it off after an hour or so every time. Others have loved it and it certainly came highly recommended. I suppose it's just not for me.
Yes. I laughed out loud in public and wasn't ashamed. When I need a good laugh again, I'll take another listen.
Something about the line "cleaning the poop off your neck" (when referring to her daughter as a baby) has really stuck with me...
Understanding the struggle between being the boss of a huge production, killing it on SNL again, and being an amazing mother.
Say something about yourself!
WELL SPENT I ENJOYED THE FINAL PART OF IT
MAYBE, MORE TO LADY FRIENDS THAN MALE
ENUNCIATION AND AUDIOS. SHE KNEW THE TEMPO
NOT LIKELY IT IS NOT MATERIAL FOR A MOVIE
Would not. Expectations much higher. Starts out funny. Doesn't hold up. Does replay infamous Sara skits which are funny - but not the only place to hear them.
I would absolutely recommend this book.
This was a great book to listen to. If you're a fan of Tina Fey, you'll enjoy this. I was driving from Denver to Salt Lake City, listening to this book made the time go by at an incredible pace. She is hilarious and gives you insight into her personal life, life on SNL, and life on 30 Rock. I highly recommend this book!
The great thing about the audio version is that it is read by Tina Fey... and she does an excellent job! The images from the book are included in the download as a .pdf.
Tina does a nice job of depicting every person in her book with respect and humor at the same time.
I haven't listened to any other readings that Tina has done, but am a big fan of her other work.
Yes, my husband and I listened to all 5 hours in one weekend on a road trip. Never got boring!
The book is written more for women than men, but my husband still found it very entertaining.
