Original, Science, Action.
Joe, because in his head he's sure he's not the right guy for this. Plus he has a cat named Cobbler.
The names for everything, I'd be tripping over some if those weapon and science words for days. Plus I love how he portrays Bunny's voice.
I laughed at some of their ridiculous situations. And, yeah, I cried.
Say something about yourself!
Dragon Factory wasn't as good as the first, but I enjoyed the plot. Some of the story lost me early, but made since in later chapters.
Joe Ledger rocks! I like that the villains are always so descriptive and by the time their reign is over its a celebration to see them defeated. The twins were fascinating characters. Great read...onto book 3. Yay!
I was drawn in & hooked from the get go. I hated the ending but like any good story it never goes where you expect it to.
A fantastic plot premise is somewhat mishandled by Maberry. What could have been a mix of relentless action mayhem and a sense of wonder, instead becomes action mixed with endless descriptions of the evil mind. Lecturing mixed with bloody carnage. Evil is bad, genocide is evil. OK I guess i knew that already. And that Extinction Clock... Ye gods how I hated hearing that at the beginning of EVERY chapter.
Ray Porter saves this book with his outstanding narration.
Yes. It is full of action and anything that might deal with Nazi's and eugenics is my cup of tea.
I think it was when the "dogs" attacked in packs. Yikes!
His performances are always right on. He is a wonderful choice for Joe's adventures!
Of course, it was with the red headed "new men".
I was glad when Joe's new love died. She always had to make a speech instead of shoot which of course, either got her in trouble or shot. REALLY??? There had to be another way to continue with the story line then have her enter talking.
I absolutely love this series. Try it you will like it. I just love Ray Porter. What a great narrator. He is a good as Luke Daniels. They make the books come alive😎
