found the story to be pretty good and the look into malgus was an awesome insight in the making of a sith Lord...as always Marc Thompson delivers a great performance with one exception....the voice he gave for the little girl made my skin crawl off of my body it literally was one of the creepiest voices I've ever heard. if I heard that voice in a dark alley or in the woods I would immediately deficate myself. will be weeks to stop these nightmares
Characters are completely different from Revan, apparently based on the game as well, so at first they were unfamiliar to me, but once I got to know them it was a good read, the characters dynamic and flushed out well. My main concern is that nothing really big happens in the novel, canonically at least, so it seems kind of like a follow-up to characters I hadn't heard of to begin with.
Not a great story. The Sith arc is pretty good but the jedi in the story is annoying and whiny and accomplishes little of any real consequence. I struggled to finish this one. The lack of impact or relevance to the rest of the Star Wars universe was dissapointing.
The Story was awesome and not predictable. the characters were well developed and it never lingered on anything it didn't have too. just when I thought these stories couldn't get any better they do. Crazy crazy good.
Much better than the first KOTOR book! Darth Malgus is villain that won't soon be forgotten! And his Jedi counter Aryn Leneer is easily one of the most relatable Jedi characters in the SW universe. Great story all around. And excellent narration as usual by Marc Thompson.
