I loved Georgia!
The unexpected turns and the hilarious details.
Georgia takes over the Sunday Morning Service!
Whether you approve or disapprove of her activities, you have to applaud her resourcefulness and cheer for her to come out on top (no pun intended!).
Yes. The performance was excellent.
I felt it ended abruptly.
Her voice, her accent, it all just fit with the story.
Unfortunately, I didn't make it past the first chapter of the book due to the narration. I expect that the story was being read in a way to conjure up southern belles and a slower pace of southern society, but I found that it didn't capture my attention at all. The story line seems like it would be good, I just didn't have the patience to find out. This is the first audible book that I haven't finished, but you don't mind a slower, drawn out narration, you might enjoy listening to this.
Upon reading the summary, I thought this was going to be outstanding... I was disappointed! It has its "parts". Those that are cute and maybe even a bit chuckling. Overall... it runs slow, jumps between "stories" and just seems a bit tiring.
I listened it out, however, would not be quick to recommend, unless you were really in for a light-footed non-nonsensical story.
