Exciting listening, really held interest and many twists and turns. This book really kept you guessing until the end. I was really surprised
I love different points of view, presented by people in the book, you never know whether you're on good or bad track. Surprisingly good.
I am new to audible and have become addicted. I have to limit listening time to the car. I found myself anticipating when I could run an errand or go to work to find out "what the heck is going on"! I found myself confused on more than one occasion.
EXCELLENT, WELL WRITTEN, Clever twist to your own sense of reasoning or deductive reasoning. Absolutely love reading Lisa's books!!!!!
I could not stop listening to this book and was cleaning house, walking to the gym - staying up late listening to it. Excellent writing, voice and tone.
Terrific book that had so many plot twists, it kept me on my toes. Did she or didn't she? Did she confess or didn't she? Great read...or, um..listen.
Alpaca farmer, gardener, poet. Loves reading & listening to books, music, writing, and learning. Life is good!
I downloaded this audio book because of its great reviews, and the plot did keep me guessing, but it seemed as if it kept the author guessing, too. It was as if she wrote the beginning, added on to it, then had to come up with situations and characters to explain Tessa Leoni's thoughts and actions. The situations seemed more improbable as the story progressed. I did like the two narrators to separate Tessa from Deedee. Without that, it would have been confusing. I'm not sure if I would recommend it or not.
This is my first book by this author and I bought it based on the stellar reviews it received. I enjoyed one of the narrators and disliked the other one enough that I would listen to several of her chapters on fast speed. It took me about half way to get into the book and I did finish it. However, I was glad when it was over so that I could move on to the next book. There are some unexpected twists and turns but in the end, the story seems just too improbable and I never really cared for the characters. One note: I am male and this book may speak more to female listeners.
