I bought both! It was nice to read over the passages I liked best.
His personal voice!
Focus more on the intrinsic factors that motivate people in the 21st century.
I really enjoy reading how he explains why lawyers are fundamentally unhappy people!
This was my first audiobook - I enjoyed it, but need to write things down. I found it hard to remember everything while listening in a car (nothing personal against this book - just love business ideas - but need to write them down)
yes. it will shape the future of the planet. Business, family relationships and our success as a species. This book will change the way you interact with your colleages and kids
How to get my kids to do chores.
Very clear voice and expression that draws you in. One of the most pleasant voices. Extremetly well researched and presented.
I'd have to say it is most like Freakanomics. Both are nonfiction and discuss what motivates people. Both are very enjoyable and thought-provoking.
Never pay a child for good grades!
I will listen to this book multiple times and I recommend it to every parent, professional and, particularly, to educators.
This book teaches you truths about motivation and it applies to more than just motivating employees. It applies to everything we do in life. I actually bought the audio version as well as the book version. I have listened to the audio book at least twice and bought the book because I wanted to refer to concepts that resonate so deeply with me. They, I'm not exactly sure who "They" are...but they say that "The teacher appears when the student is ready"...I was so ready for this book! Thank you Daniel Pink for assembling such clear, and concise information!
Don't know - have not read the print.
Excellent book - really made me think about how I organize my classroom.
This guy knows his stuff. He is smart! But he could have said more in less time.
It was interesting.
