Stephanie Plum is a funny character. These books are easy to listen to.
Stephanie falling in the dog poop.
I've read the book and listened to it and listening to the different characters just makes me retain more of it.
fun, humorous, silly
It moved along quickly
nothing extreme but I did laugh at times
Although I enjoy the Plum series, I don't know if I can read or listen to 19 of them. For me, although I love the sarcasm, she can be too silly.
Not in my case. I know these books are popular, and I might like it better in print, with some distance, but it just isn't my type of book. I like edgy, but this wasn't that. I have the distinct feeling I would not like to ever go to her part of New Jersey. I just don't like HER, or any of her "friends", for that matter. It's as though something is missing. I take it back, I do like her Grandmother.
The main character needs more dimension.
I can't think of anything.
Not really. I had to force myself to go back to it a few times.
This is the worst I ever heard of the autio books by Janet Evanovich. It was verey hard to figure out who was talking in this book. C J Critt does not change her voice at all, makes it hard to determind who is talking.
Good Question, it would have been better with a different reader.
This story has some very entertaining characters; however, the profanity destroys what could have been a great book.
Retired Teacher Love reading and love listening to audio books in my car.
I knew this book would be a funny romp in the continued life of our favorite bounty hunter. Unfortunately, I'll have to read all about it, because after just a couple of chapters, I simply could not continue with the horrible narration. How could you take a classic series like this one and destroy the humor, the prosody, the timing? Do I sound disappointing? You bet I am. I seldom toss an audio title, even if the narration is suspect. But this one? The only direction I'll take here will be towards my Nook where I know I'll enjoy the tale. Shame on you. I paid for this title. Shame on me.
The sexual tension between Stephani and Moreli. All the characters that make up Stephanies' family.
When Stephanie finds a cat in Rex's cage. Thank goodness for the soupcan!
So funny how she does the mother. And yet kinda tuns me on when she does Moreli and Ranger. Very confusing, but brilliant.
Laugh and laugh and laugh.
I am planning on listening to the entire series.
This has a good story line and charater development. Some good laugh out loud parts.
I liked the narration and CJ Critt gets the personalties right.
This is a pass my driving time with a good story.
Yes, the charaters are great. They seem to be real people. By no means perfect, but unlike so many other authors, Ms Evanovich realizes that flaws are what make a person interesting. There is no cookie cutter characters in this book. Honestly, it is refreshing.
First Grave on the Right by D. Jones. Again the characters appears to be real people and not the same old stereotypes.
The individual voices make this a joy to listen to. There is no need to wonder who is speaking
This is an entertaining book.
At the top
Mostly, not as good as the first. But I do like how Stephanie is always in trouble.... keeps it interesting
Yes, Still as good
