I really enjoyed this book. I read the first book and got this one for a cross country road trip. Not sure that driving and listening to this book was the best idea; unless you're good at laughing and driving. The story is great and the narration is perfect.
"Two for the Dough" is *hilarious*! I found myself laughing more and cringing less than while reading the first novel, as Stephanie has more experience with bounty hunting. Also her family and friends are more involved in her work life, Grandma Mazur being central to helping her solve the mystery. A fun time with Stephanie, I'm looking forward to "Three!"
One of the best!
I Loved that C.J. Critt created believable voices for all the characters, and each character was easily distinguishable!
Kept me laughing the entire time!
I love reading and listening to the audio books. Either way, life is good!
The plot was very well played out.
I like to hear other people's pacing and technique. Sometimes it is the same in my head as it is read aloud.
It was suspenseful and laugh out loud funny. So enjoyable and the characters believable.
Love the character and the ex-prostitute Lula
Lula and the Grand mother.
I've read others by this author and this is the best so far.
I've just discovered Janet Evanovich's writings. And Stephanie Plum. Cannot say enough about how much I love her books. If you want characters, read Evanovich. You won't find anything else like the one's she gives you. Plot twists, you won't see them coming. Laughs, be careful where you listen to these books. People will look at you strange when you suddenly burst out loud laughing hysterically and they have no idea why. This woman's writings is nothing short of genius.
CJ Critt is a great narrator for this series! She really makes each personality come to life. I enjoy having some of the same characters surface again in this second book of the Stephanie Plum series.
It has to be Stephanie Plum. She just plays such a dunder-head of a personality. In the part she plays as a Bounty Hunter, it is just so darn funny the way she plays the part. In reality I would think someone who would be as dense a part as she plays ,would surely get knocked off, but she always comes out on top with the help of all of her awesomely funny friends. I love it!
Like I said earlier. She has a knack for creating the characters in a way that they really come to life in your mind.s eye
Yes. If I had the time to do that, I certainly would. great read!!
I really like this series. Janet Evanovich has a winning combination of characters in this series. I like her style of writing. Unlike some other authors that I read, she does not use a lot of minutia to clutter up the story. It is always quite straight forward.
I have read all of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books and enjoy listening to them again. They are funny and entertaining. Worth listening to or reading. You'll find some of the characters hysterically funny and Ranger and Morelli are hunks who love Stephanie and are willing to put up with her antics and pull her out of trouble when needed. There's also funeral loving Grandma and ex-prostitue, Lulu.
Witty, romantic, comedic
A light, fun book...not going to win any major book awards, but keeps you entertained!
I tried listening while on the beach on vacation and it was way too slow. I will try again, but it was far too boring.
I don't know
Didn't. Just slow book.
I never finished it so I don't know.
