Not really,it was a weak continuation of the last book in this series.
Made Curtis's character more like him old self.
Okay, okay & okay

Although January is gloomy here in the midwest, I can always get a ray of sunshine with the much anticpated annual release from Kimberla Lawson Roby. The Curtis Black series gets better with every book. This is an awesome book and I have shared it with many coworkers who also love it. I cannot wait until the next installment.
This book is trash. I even hated the sound of the narrator voice. This book is a piece of ghetto trash. The main character is an unrelenting ghetto hood rat, that is very hard to relate to. I am tired of Black authors writing about being materialistic and promiscuous-- and equating that to sexy and provocative. Trash.
