YES, AS THE STORY IS JUST BETTER THAN AVERAGE, BUT THE READER BRINGS THE STORY ALIVE IN A WAY THAT MAKES YOU PART OF IT. THIS MAKES THE STORY WAY BETTER THAN AVERAGE.
YES AND THEY ALWAYS DO AN EXCELLENT JOB, IN BRINGING THE STORY TO LIFE.
Yes. it a very good thriller I would recommend it
all of it
the reader were very good
James Patterson is on top of his game with this one. very breath holding, exciting. I did not want it to end.
Tell us about yourself!Woof, woof woof ( I love audible, chasin and killin defenseless kittens and eatin em...yummy ). I luv dem thriller stories, and dream of J.D. Robb & yours truly doggy style, howl! Anyway, I is jus kiddin bout the kitties with peace, good health and lots of happy readin y'all!
The interplay of one mans pursuit of a psychotic serial killer blowing the hell out of NYC and his sand and surf vacation with his family, 10 adopted kids, and a nanny who is also becoming the next Julie Andrews love interest for our hero Mr. Bennett. J.P. Sure knows how to stick with winning formulas.
Patterson's uses of family in his stories and this is prominently seen in Tick Tock as his adopted son, just 1 of 10 adopted children, comes to his aid with no less a baseball bat. And, of course, this is just a fly swatter to our pscho serial killing villain. But,alas, Bennett's second family (cops are like flies in Patterson's big apple) are quickly there to save the day.
I would rather have read the book. I did not like either narrator's voice. The narration for Michael did not match the energy and attitude I had associated with him after reading the first three books. He sounded drained, depressed and nasally! I much prefer the energy I attached to the character in my own mind.
I think the main character's narration brought the book down. As previously mentioned it felt very low energy, drained and nasally! I think the villain's narration worked better.
Yes, although it didn't work out that way.
I really liked the plot. I like Michael Bennet's character and am glad the Patterson has come up with a new character that I enjoy. The family dynamic and love interests are just right.
Always like audio.
Michael Bennett. He is a no nonsense guy but also has compassion.
I LOVE the way Bobby Cannavale performs Michael Bennett. Much better than Joe Castenegra.
Looking forward to the next book in this series.
Love to read as I drive; never leave home without. Love the Cousins O'Dwyer Books #1 - made me feel I was there. Narrator X-celent! Purrfekt
I found it to be a bit boring, not as dramatic or exciting, a bit of a cliff hanger-awaiting MORE thrills. Like a kiddie-roller-coaster... bring you up but just a little and then send you down and left you there.
Bobby Cannavale brings life to Michael Bennett and Scott Sowers does a nice job with the rest of the narration. But this fourth book in the series features yet another mad killer with his own twisted motive for terrorizing everyone in NYC. A cruel, crazed murderer who wreaks pain and torture on his victems. Patterson and Ledwidge have been there, done that. I won't be listening to these any more.
James & Michael combo does it again! A good read and I really enjoyed. Family man still suprises you, good mystery. Keep them coming.
This was an excellent novel full of suspense. The narrator Michael Ledwidge had you living the novel it was fantastic.
