I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
This was my first by these authors, and their collaboration was seamless. So often, it is obvious where the division is: the humor is one style, the sex another, etc. But this read as if by one author.
I was pleasantly surprised at the pacing of this book. The first sex scene comes in half way through, and I think there are only four total. Sex is just one part of the story, despite the cover, which shouts Erotica! With Shifters!
I found the narrartor not really suited to the story. she sounded like a child and could not get the male voices right.
Not a lot of world building going on here, but I did like the family, their business and the setting. I will probably read at least one more by this duo; I am especially interested in sister Heidi's story.
The narrator, Gina Cedarwood, must be some Audible exec's niece in need of her first job. She made listening to the first half of this imaginative story very hard to get through. By then, she seemed to feel more confident and comfortable though she still needs lessons in order the keep up with the "Big Dogs". The story was worth the credit but I won't listen to this narrator again until she's gain more experience.
Crazy red head who's head over heels about family, friends and life in general!
This was a good story for a shifter/fantasy story. I enjoyed the main characters and the heat between the three made sense and seemed believable. I truly liked the way the author brings the "cats" to life and writes them with a good balance of animal and human traits. Overall, I would try another story by this author and would like to find out about the rest of the family.
This story had no redeeming qualities.
Her childish voice did nothing to enhance what is a poor story. And the childish tones certainly didn't help the supposedly lurid sex scenes.
