As you read/listen to Tim he introduces you to utilizing the learning curve and deconstructing skills to ultimately have a broad spectrum of masterful skills. Tim has done a good job in introducing the reader to the idea of minimizing effort for optimal benefit. A refreshing perspective for all the people who believe there's never any shortcuts in life.
Thought provoking read but much of it must be approached with skepticism, as Tim Ferriss himself would probably agree. It may or may not radically change your life, but it certainly gives you some ideas on how to do it if you so choose.
Way too much material from the book omitted. Big disappointment. I wish I would've double checked the length beforehand. it was definitely not worth the credit.
Great audio book, it's really not much longer than an episode of his podcasts which makes it easy to binge. However there's a lot of material that is left out.
I found myself having to rush to take notes and constantly rewind to jot down foods, nutrients, etc and having a hard copy would have made it much easier. For a book that's designed to help the audience make a change in thief life, audio book is not convenient nor practical for reference.
Overall, it was amusing but the money would have been better spent on the hard copy.
I liked the reader. I disliked that he said he would give us a pdf link, and didnt. (Or i cant find it).
Its too full of data to be an audio book, but well worth it in another format.
The biggest problem with this book which should be "self help" is that Tim gives you 100 different options for a single problem. There are times when it's confusing if he's speaking directly on an issue or broadly on several related topics. He mentions at least 50 different supplements and substances we "could" or "should" be taking and just casually goes into in depth biological explanations that prove he did some research, but hardly make sense to me. You get the impression he's the type of guy that likes to hear himself talk. Certainly confident in his process, but clearly lacking direction
awesome book , a little confusing but I'm sure it's one of those (gotta hear it again )books.
I wish Tim was more diverse in training modalities and more direct with the raw data which I know he has. either way it's not a waste of money or time by any means. good shit my dude.
I love all of Tim Ferriss' books. the content in 4 hour body is great. However, this should have been marketed as the condensed version. it's missing huge chunks of information from the book.
The story of how this book came about and the information found therein is worthy of further review, but be advised, the foul language ised to tell the story (abuse of God's name in vain, the F-bombs, and others) completely take away from the message. The available PDF will also be reviewed, but it would have been nice to include a chapter on where to find the various foodstuffs and supplements noted throughout the book as well as more information on the criticisms that were noted.
Want the full version, adbridged was misleading
nothing, liked what i heard
description of book was inaccurate
