Funny, Enlightening, Interesting
Ironically - Jeff Dunham is my favorite character, although his numerous creations are funny, the 'man behind the dummies' is more interesting than all of them.
Walter - a classic old guy that everyone can relate to. But frankly - they're all hilarious!
Behind the scenes and on the stage, Jeff Dunham tells All
Having this book read by anyone else would have been a major mistake - no one does Jeff Dunham's characters like he does - it was a joy to hear the story of Jeff Dunham's life in his own words, read by him.
I much enjoyed hearing the book read by the author, it lent more credibility to the work and added some extra
Jeff is a very personable and enjoyable comedian. This makes his book very easy to listen to.
I found this book very easy to pick up and drop out of. I listened in the car on my 1.5 hr road trips each week, and hid this book done in several weeks, without missing a beat and having to go back to
I have always been amazed by Jeff's talents and shows. His book was absolutely amazing. The writing is witty and humorous and touching. I so admire his courage and committment to greatness. I found his book uplifting, moving and funny. The only bad thing was when it ended !!! I loved how the characters were woven into the dialog as it made the book more alive. Jeff is truly an amazing person and great writer and storyteller! I highly recommend this book - you just feel better while reading it!!!!
I am a big fan of Jeff Dunham. This is the story of how the became one of the premier comedians out there. It was especially nice that Jeff narrated the book himself.
I've adored Jeff Dunham for years (since his Tonight Show appearance) and it's inspirational listening to how he has persisted and achieved his goals. If you want to learn about having a passion and wanting to push forward to achieve your goals, and not give up when things go wrong, listen to this book.
If you love Jeff and the characters, listen to this book. He throws in some of the bits that just make me laugh out loud.
Plus there's some very cool facts (Like Achmed's eyes. I won't give it away tho).
The sound quality is excellent, and it's in one big segment (i personally don't care if it's in one or multiple...just saying)
I really like Jeff Dunham's comedy, and I enjoyed learning the back stories of his most loved characters. I like that he brings his characters into the story to banter a bit. Some of it doesn't work on audible, but there's an effort. I really disliked not only the amount of foul language, but the words he picked. Not a family friendly book, and as a family we enjoy watching his specials. But, I guess we watch them on TV and now know we can never go to his shows. Who knew???
