This book inspired me not to whine. Also, made me realize that I can probably push my body a little more to keep up in any workout class. There's a lot to learn from Louis's story about survival and the strength of the human spirit.
I listened to this while training for a half marathon and it kept me interest and wanting to run so I could figure out what was going to happen. There was a lot of details as to the horrors of war and a great testament to the love of God in recovery.
Everyone should read this book and share it with everyone they know. The details are amazing, and emotionally painful at times. Laura and Edward paint a vivid picture of what these real men went through for protecting America.
Edward Hermann does an exceptional job recanting Laura Hillenbrands words.

Everything about this audible book was excellent and it was difficult to put it down.
Having not seen the movie I was intrigued by the constantly evolving story and couldn't believe that this was non-fiction. The life of Louie is truly remarkable. The story is well told and addictive. This book will not disappoint.
