My name is Irene and I'm a lifelong bookaholic. A few years ago, I started adding audiobooks and I'm so happy I joined Audible in 2015 :-))
This is one of my fave Nora Roberts series, and I'm happy to recommend it to all who appreciate above all "Love". Not so wild about the narrator; I've heard better. It still can't take away from the story or series. Highly recommended for anyone who wants their HEA well written with characters that you wish were your friends.
I highly recommend this book. I had my impression of Parker before I started listening and I'm glad to say she was totally different than I expected. More than once I was laughing out load or smiling to myself. Really enjoyed this book, will go back and listen again.
Listing to the book gave me option of hearing the story on a long drive I had to take. Made the five hour trip really enjoyable. Angela Dawe did a great job of bringing the characters to life for me. Really enjoyed it!
When Parker and Mal argued, I was given a great deal of insight into what they were both feeling at the time. I could then understand why the relationship worked.
This last book in the series with everything that I had hoped it would be and more. Nora Roberts finished out the series in a way that made you feel it has come full circle and review feeling satisfied. It's sad to see the ending because you get so invested in these characters, in their personalities, their lives. Very well done excellent series I highly recommend.
The narrator did a fairly good job. However, her talents were wasted on an extremely dull plot. Save your credit or money. The idea behind the Quartet series is alluring, four friends running a bridal business and falling in love with the handsome men that surround them, but that's where any interesting aspect of this series ends. It was not executed well and didn't live up to its potential. Guaranteed your own wedding planning and love story would be more entertaining than Roberts' attempts here.
Parker finally got her own book and it's with Mal! *happy dancing around the room* Like the rest of the series this book is great. The last chapter made me smile like a loon and sigh of happiness. Angela Dawe was a joy to listen to, and her voices are easily distinguishable.
I really liked this book. I liked all the books in this quartet. I liked the four women that made up the company. They were all different: and interesting strong characters.. The story lines were all good too..
No author has ever been able to evoke emotional responses from me as Nora Roberts. She has a never ending talent to make me feel like I'm right there in her stories!
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
Author knows how to take all her best elements of previous series and bring them forward into this series. See Dreams, Daring and Finding series and Blue Dalia/Black Rose for hero's in this book. Author has the spunk dialogue for all the ladies , spot on
If you ever have wanted soul deep friendships that you can count on, then this book best illustrates what can happen with responsible partners.
She made you love all the characters so you buy all 4 books. She has a fast pace in this book which matched the heroine's personality and made our hero as yummy as N.R. can make them. Her reader in N.R. MacGregor series, great or Tiffany Snow's series, yum!
Yes, every waking hour. Will buy books 1,2,3 as Ms Dawe does this series some very big justice.
