I enjoyed all the books in the series as I have the many other Nora Roberts books.
As I have not read the print version, I cannot say. However, since it was the unabridged version, it should have been word for word.
By book 4 I was deeply involved with the characters. I like the premise of an all inclusive bridal company and wish there was something like it locally.
When straight laced, dignified Parker took a ride on Mal's motorcycle.
Very nice read. But by book 4 I had pretty well figured out the ending before half way thru the book.
I am too busy to read, but I love reading! Audible makes it easy to listen to books while I am at work or on my way to School!
When you just want to read about a romance this is a perfect book. You really connect with the characters. You are able to image you actually in the scene with the characters!
Nothing! This series was so fun to read. Happy Ever After is an excellent ending to the bridal quartet series. I enjoyed each of the books so much. Nora Roberts/J D Robb is my all time favorite author.
Happy endings and escape are two of the reasons why I read and this book did not disappoint me. The characters are great! Nora Roberts creates such wonderful characters!
I enjoyed the performance of Angela Dawe. She is an excellent narrator and would enjoy hearing more books performed by her.
I loved this book as well as the other three books of this series. The characters are excellent. They are fun and believable. The story line is a new one and not a repeat of the same subject(s). This series is another reason why Nora Roberts is such an outstanding writer! I have read all of her books and will continue to do so whether she is writing as Nora Roberts or J D Robbs.
I can't wait for the next book written by Nora Roberts/J D Robb by such a talented writer.
The book is a great romance, as NR always does. But I miss the exciting stoies such as 7 Brother, the Garden Trilogy, 3 sister island, & etc. This was just another romance - nothing exciting. I would like to see NR get back on track with the original fantasy-romance she's done before.
The proposal at the wedding.
Mac - B/c she is the character that I most identified with.
Nora never fails to entertain me and this, the last in the series, was no exception. I was expecting it to be dull, predictable, old-hat after spending so much time with these characters already, but I really enjoyed it.
I know there is a huge range of opinions on the quality of this series, and admit that the depth of the characters is lacking. Nora's women are always strong, competent, opinionated, LOVE what they do for a living (their 'calling'), and just need to stumble around in said relationship a little before falling perfectly in love with the perfect man. I'd like to see her wow us with a love story that happens AFTER the wedding - after the meet, tangle, fall in love saga - after the chemical rush of love is long gone and routine sets in. That would be impressive. Until then, these thrilling predictable tales are certainly fun.
Angela Dawe's voice adjusted well to each of the characters--and she kept the defined voices throughout all four books
Malcolm's meeting with Linda at Mac's wedding and reminding her of their last meeting.
Parker's dealing with the couple who bought their four uninvited and unruly children to their cousin's wedding. I love how she handled the obnoxious guest who was not even slightly apologitic about the damage and inconvenience they caused. I bet a lot of people wish they had a Parker to put uninvited guests in their place.
Parker, of course, because she was the most focused
I'd love a follow up book 5 to pick up on the lives--if not wedding--of the quartet.
Yes, and I have to many.
All the girls are my favorites.
I am sad that this is the end. I felt like the characters were part of my family and didn't want the good times to end.
I loved all four books in this series... and it was truly sad to see them come to an end! Get lost in the stories of these four women.. you won't regret it!
