I loved the story...over coming a bad situation but with humor and sarcasm.
There were lots of scenes in this book that were great but the one that was the funniest to me was chasing down her neighbor forgetting she didn't have any clothes on.
What a great narrator. You could hear the emotion in the book from her voice. I would listen to other books simply because they were narrated by Amanda Ronconi.
I have a real crazy in love relationship with books!!!
Ummm.....I don't know, probably not, though I rarely re-listen to books. However, there were parts of the book that just drug out too long and I found myself annoyed lol.
I love Molly Harper's work and this one is no different. She is absolutely hilarious.
Her personality and sarcasm is hilarious. She just works.
I did both, though there were mostly laughs.
This was a good book and I would definitely recommend it. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I found myself super annoyed with the husband & wife's attitude towards the main character. I just felt like it was allowed to go on wayyyy to long....and I found myself wanting to tell them off lol.
Ok, now that was funny, On point!!!! I laughed out loud. Anyone could relate to this whether they have recovered (or still in recovery) from a divorce or just a bad relationship in general. LOVED!
I was so glad I got this book. The story itself wasn't the best part even though it was a fun and entertaining story.. It was the hysterical banter and wit that all the characters traded with each other. And even through the most romantic or heartwarming moments you knew there was going to be something coming up shortly that would make you laugh out loud. I just wish I could use that kind of wit when dealing with my own romantic situations! Too fun! I am really looking forward to the next book written by Molly Harper.
Yes. Good for anyone going thru a divorce due to a cheating husband!
Lead Character is sassy, funny and the author makes it easy to relate to her. She is sassy, snarky at times, and very "human" going through the emotional adjustment of learning she was married to a lying cheating jerk. Not only does she survive but she thrives by escaping to a lake cabin and finds herself again with the help of her attorney, an unusual friend, her gay brother and of course the sexy reclusive neighbor.
Not yet, but I plan to listen to all of them
All of the characters are developed well and most of them are likeable.
Its a good read for any woman who has endured the embarrassment of a divorce caused by a lying cheating husband.
Couldn't say, never red the print vr
Just a fun, no brainer story to listen to while driving to work
Personality to the character
Monroe...does it need explaining?!! LOL
Her main character had some glimpses of having a backbone. She was starting to become her own person after having been a doormat all her life. She never financially supported herself though. Everything she ever had was given to her even though she was intelligent and could easily have been more self supporting. Her father was an emotionally unsupportive, self absorbed ass.
This was my first. I might give her another try. I prefer strong main characters who fight the good fight, instead of weak people who are handed everything, then thrust out on their own.
The girl who wanted to start the website was good except for being too angry. The main male character was ok.
No, I'm already a strong self supportive person.
I really wanted to like this book. There are parts of it I liked a lot. The main character started to become a strong person, but then just fell back into the same patterns she started with. She is like the women at the country club that I don't like because they are just window dressing.
Could not get into this one at all. I love Molly Harper but this one disappointed.
Yes, but her vampire series not anything else.
Didn't like her narration but it might be because of the book itself so not sure.
Disappointment and very bored.
Arguably the worst purchase I've mad from audible.
“And One Last Thing” is hilarious!!
Harper’s delivery is nothing short of masterful. If you enjoy a light hearted, good natured, and extremely funny read; then by no mean should you skip “And One Last Thing”. Spend the credit and take the ride. Guarantee you will at the very least smile, if not laugh out loud.
To Amanda Ronconi - thanks for the performance that had me laughing out loud.
