Matt Long's tale of recovery is a must read for any athlete, firefighter, or anyone struggling to recover from an injury. If you ever need motivation to keep moving forward, this is it. The narrator was wonderful as well.
This story will make you laugh and cry, but most importantly it will inspire you and give you the perspective and push you need to accomplish whatever challenge you are facing.
Wonderful story of God's grace on a person who suffered so much yet never gave up. Matt long is an inspiration to us all.
Great book, inpowerment and motivational. Show how small are our regular problems and how we can achieve greatness if we really want and chase, focus and dedicate ourselves to achieve it.
Say something about yourself!
Like many books about living in New York City, the author treats absolutely everything that happens in a normal person's life like it is amazing just because it happened in New York. If the same events were told of a person living in Iowa, it would be called boring.
Truly inspirational. If you didn't feel like you had to go and achieve something after listening to this well then you are not normal. Feeling all the POSI vibes from Matthew. ++
Matthew set himself a goal and no matter what he found a way to achieve it. Living the true YOLO lifestyle
Loved the audio so much if it was in print I would have read the book through the night! Well put together and inspiring.
Matt Long and all his family and buddies!
Rough sexy voice!
Lots of insights, importance of family and friends! Reminds me how much I love running! Most interesting part for me as a South African woman living in Maputo it was so interesting learning re NY! Only thing missing was - did he meet girl of his dreams yet?
Just love books.
The narration was good, the story incredible!
I like the fact that Mathew Long didn't cover the fact that at times he had a bad attitude about the situation he found himself in but he eventually found his way. We are not all positive thinkers all of the time as the experts like to tell us to be.
I cried at the marathon. What an achievement.
