Like most Jack Reacher novels, I enjoyed this one. I really liked how Lee Childs left us guessing until the very end as to the nature of the Ducans' business. Jack seemed at bit more "human" in this novel. Maybe age does that.
I'm a huge reacher fan, and this didn't disappoint, but situation felt forced aty beginning
This is a detailed story, minus the fluffy filler that normally finds its way into every other book you'll read.
The plot was deep enough to keep me entertained while moving around passing time without realizing how much time had passed.
Definitely the story, this one kept me guessing till the very end; you think things are one way, and then they turn out to be completely different, very good.
If you like Jack Reacher in general, you'll like this book, because it has a lot of action spots, and Reacher is in his characteristic role of protecting the innocent ones and dealing with the evil ones.
Dick Hill did a good job in this one, not quite as good as other books I've heard him do, but definitely a good job, and easy to listen to. The story was top-notch, I think one of the best that I've heard by Lee Child as of yet. If you like the Jack Reacher series, you'll like this one.
dad, husband, just a guy
nO I'd not recommend it to a Friend. The book is good. The suspense it good. But the storyline is sick.
The Affair by Lee Child. Next Reacher bookd
I can see well so hearing it helps me.
No took me several days to listen.
Nebraska is a bad place.
I am a retired psychologist with lots of time on my hands, thus I listen to a lot of books.
This was typical Jack Reacher as he engages in a good cause and takes no prisoners. I didn't think it held the suspense and my interest like 61 hours but still was worth reading.
