No- It was not a great way to end the story.. Just too much anger and action not too much of mystery
OH my he is the best. He kept it going for sure..
No.. but parts of it was very good.
Dick Hill does a good job as usual. The story is far-fetched, but generally entertaining.
Very good story. I usually listen to these stories in the car on trips but sometimes the voice gets too quiet to be able to hear them over the car. All of the Jack reacher's are are very good
I'd put it in the top 25%. It's full of action and suspense.
The plot was good if a bit unbelievable at times.
Everything. Dick HIll is Jack Reacher. He totally brings Reacher to life.
Yes, the discovery of the girl(s) and the bike by Reacher. His insistence that the mother not look was even more touching.
Another great Jack Reacher story as told by Dick Hill.
I love the Lee Child- jack reacher series. Great characters and well written. I read the first 11 books and have used audible for the next 5. Dick Hill is a delight to listen too. I will absolutely look for more books narrated by him. Truly worth listening too.
I bought this book to see how Reacher escaped the bunker explosion in "61 Hours". Hint: He didn't get in a refrigerator and get blown free. The real explanation is far more prosaic and is only dealt with briefly in this volume.
But along the way we encounter Reacher crushing REALLY EVIL people and putting some spine into the DOWNTRODDEN HOMESTEADERS. So Reacher never really encounters either good or bad people, he only deals with prototypes.
Reacher extirpates the bad guys with his usual efficiency. All this is well and good, but I'd really like to see Jack Reacher vs. Jason Borne.
I know that a lot of people appreciate Dick Hill's narration. So do I on other books. His powers are somewhat diminished in this series, however. Since Child pads his prose with the usual summertime fluff, I find it useful to set my player to it's faster speed. Hill's story telling prowess, therefore, is somewhat diminished at chipmunk speed.
