I've listened to all the books in the series so far and this is in the top two or three. No conflicts for Reacher and his actions. He does things we all think we would do if we were in his situation. One of the things I don't like about the previous books is the sex. While it isn't much it is completely not needed. Very refreshing to go through a book with no sex at all. Just violence born from anger
Like most Jack Reacher novels, I enjoyed this one. I really liked how Lee Childs left us guessing until the very end as to the nature of the Ducans' business. Jack seemed at bit more "human" in this novel. Maybe age does that.
I'm a huge reacher fan, and this didn't disappoint, but situation felt forced aty beginning
This is a detailed story, minus the fluffy filler that normally finds its way into every other book you'll read.
The plot was deep enough to keep me entertained while moving around passing time without realizing how much time had passed.
