Elmore Leonard creates great characters. Hombre, Get Shorty, and dozens more. Raylan Givens is done with Justfied but original stories started here
Elmore Leonard true to form in all his magnificence! This book was already fabulous when it was originally released, but listening to it with images of the FX Original series 'Justified' in mind just brings the enjoyment of this work to a whole new level!
My first Elmore Leonard book. It was enjoyable but not exactly the most thought-provoking story. I kind of saw the boys coming a mile away and it felt like a lot of padding. The only black which I'm never a fan O.
Off beat interesting and different main character. Good supporting characters.
Good plot story told with humor, very up beat. Similar feel to get shorty.
Very good match of narrator to author and story with excellent distinction among characters without over acting
It's not Justified the TV show, but then again, it shouldn't have to be. Filled with colorful characters. Only complaint was that it was too short.
Mr. Leonard has the best characters and usually has a story to match with few exceptions.
Justified made me a Raylan Givens fan but Harry Arno is so unlikeable you have to love him.
I became an Elmore Leonard fan late in the game and Pronto is catch up.
Non Fiction Reader
Not as funny as many of Leonard's books. I tends to drag at times. It doesn't seem like he has too much invested in the story.
