Yes, I'll try the next in the series.
There was no real conlfict that I felt was believable. Everything was too easy. There was no struggle. What the couple
I like the little brothers.
Book two was a good follow-up to book one. The story was a little more interesting than the first and had some unexpected funny parts.
I am an avid "reader"- I prefer to listen to books rather than read them due to the added dimension added by the narrator.
I guess I am really spoiled by the Outlander series. Davina Porter just does the Scottish
accent so so well. Surprisingly, I see that Carrington MacDuffie is presumably of Scottish ancestry but the accent is not at all convincing. There are some hot sex scenes but otherwise, I found this empty and boring.
The narrator spoke so quickly it was hard to comprehend sometimes and required playback to catch phrases. Overlal Good book though.
I've listened to the Outlander series twice and hoped for a similar experience with this book - except for the convincing narrator and some really steemy scenes it's no match. I liked it, but wasn't sad when it was over.
I love books, it's my great escape.
I am so glad I got this one. One reviewer said it was a hidden gem and it was. It's a very sweet story about love and forgiveness. And yes, it has some steamy parts.
This book is one on the best books I ever listened to. I cannot believe that the other reviews were not higher; just to think I could have missed out on this outstanding book if I had not taken a chance.
This is a great story well written with strong characters. Tristen MacGregor is a true hero with great integrity. Though only connected with the first book in the series by family, this story stands alone just fine. It's well worth a credit.
I love losing myself in books of any kind
This women was so undeserving of Tristen. Here hatred was unreasonable and silly. It was very hard to get through the book with Tristan's understanding and her complaints
