For a book about time management the author spends an incredible amount of time wasting time with ridiculous jokes and stories. There is a lot of rambling and the humor in this book seriously distracts from any content. Really wouldn't mind getting my money or credits back for this book. This is one of few books that audible recommended that I really didn't like.
I think "stever" need to figure out that he wants to be a comedian instead of a consultant or author. PASS......
you can sense his passion for the topic, I am a speaker too and have a similarly interesting voice, funny that I notice that. I listened from audible.com and really enjoyed. In fact I am using something I learned right now. I am using my computer as a tool, writing this review and going right back to work.
Everything is better with humour and Stever gives practical, usable tips with a health dose! The book includes lots of tips and also makes you think twice about how you are living your life. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and am even implementing some tips already!
Half the advice is nonsense and even contradicts itself and the other half are things that you already know.
I already knew the author by the podcast.
It is both useful and fun.
It's not only about getting things done, it's also about focus, relationship and so on.
Some of the ideas are identical to other you can find in Tim Ferriss 4-hour book; here though they are somewhat more human, I'd edulcorated and therefore easier to adopt.
