"Superb and lots of laughter"
A must read Jim Breuer an A++ Comedian.. Please buy this book you won't regret it
"I like Jim Breuer......"
But unfortunately I couldn't get through more than a couple hours of this. Maybe it gets better, but I've listened to dozens of audio books and unfortunately if it hasn't gotten good within a couple hours, it probably won't. Damn!
"Hilarious, heartbreaking and delightful"
Totally!
Jim, duh!
Probably going off script and making it seem like you're having a conversation with him as he recites stories from his life. There were lots of "um" and "uh" that you're trained to not do during public speaking. However, this is something most people do in their day-to-day conversations with friends and family.
There were several. The part about the nagging sensation to talk his brother and other gut feelings that he had which ended with heartbreak.
My husband had been a huge Jim Breuer fan for years and he's constantly trying to get me to watch him. I needed something to get me through my day at the office so I picked this audiobook and I regret not heading to my local comedy club when Jim Breuer was in town. This was an absolutely insightful book that made me laugh out loud and tear up. There's a lot of heavy topics but funny stories along with way.
"Freakin awesome."
I loved the versatility of his capability to express his emotions. He has a great story to tell and he did it very well.
By far Jim himself
His ability to impersonate the characters in his life that he speaks of
I didn't listen to it and when sitting I listen to books over the course of a couple of days as I work I am a Rancher. But I would listen to it in one sitting no question
It's only my 4th or 5th audible book and I loved it
"AWESOME!!!!"
One of the best stories I've heard. Great stories telling Jimbo. you are the best
"Story is told, not read, by the author."
Former SNL cast member, Jim Breuer is a brilliant storyteller. He clearly is not reading this book which adds a great deal to his stories. When I wasn't laughing at his humor, I was stunned by some of the events / coincidences in his life. His story is great fun to listen to.
"Good story however..."
All in all this was a great book. But it just seem a little all over the place story wise. I don't know if Jim was improving during this recording or not, but he wasn't I probably find actually reading this book really difficult because the dialogue was l scattered and rarely was focus
"Needs to be listened to"
Listening to this book is like some strange combination between watching his stand up and listening to the fun uncle tell stories at a reunion. It was really entertaining though the message was occasionally strange. He wants to be a family comic now and thinks that God has been directing him towards this and has been giving him warnings his entire life. Not bad, just odd- mostly because it comes out of nowhere. If you like his stand up, this is definitely worth listening to.
"Master Story Taller"
Do not read this book. Have one of the greatest modern comedic story-tellers perform it.
