Great NOLA listen.
When Mary Catherine was in the hotel looking for her beau.
No. She is one of the best I've heard with southern dialect. I'm from the south, so I appreciated her performance.
Panties or pie, you can't beat French Silk
This was my first Sandra Brown book, but won''t be my last.
I REALLY enjoyed listening to the narrator's southern draw for these characters. The story was really good too, but the narrator, for me, really made this audio book worth the credit I spent. I really like murder mysteries and this one did not dissapoint. Just when I knew who did it, I was completely surprised in the end. The sex was minimal and tasteful! I give this one a two thums up!!
Yes, to be sure that I didn't miss anything
Cassie, he never gave up
The correct names
It made me cry
I usually enjoy Sandra Brown's stories but this one's heroine really annoyed me. She was always getting caught lying about something. I'm glad I got it on sale and didn't waste a credit on this one.
I no longer live in Worcester. I now live in Brooklyn, NY.
I find a true New Orleans accent very appealing. So why have a narrator with a phony accent? Although the characters are stereotypical I did get caught up in the tale and it held my interest. Some nice twists at the end......I was certain I had the mystery solved and then I was surprised.
The reader was impressive: she managed to act out all characters and even personalised the narration. The quality of narration exceeded the book: characters were cardboard cutouts -- the goodies and the badies -- the plot was gratuitously complex with contrived twists and turns. However, this popular author knows well how to put a good yarn together and it was the sort of undemanding book that makes tedious chores pass more quickly.
Say something about yourself! I'm a 57y/y female named Kathy,I have had 3 strokes & unable to read any more. audiobooks are a God send !!!
a few sexy parts!
when the lawyer fell in love with one of the main women!
this book should be rated "R", due to the sex scenes!!!
Audio-fiction ADDICT !
I am happy a took a chance on a new author to me. I like the mixture of romance and suspense ! It was done perfectly with balance. Loved the characters and the mystery that till the end of the book I am left with no idea to how it will turn out. Very good!
However, the narrator needs to improve her performance, the male voices should emote realistic ! She made the hero sound like an old man :(
Other than that, I have bought already my next Sandra brown audiobook :) you should as well :)
