Not a big fan of Sparks, but decided to give it a try! Great book that was hard to put down.
Most other Nicholas Sparks books- they never dissapoint!
NO- but she did great!
Good book, but no tears :)
Easy to listen to
The way Kevin's character read. I didn't like the guy to begin with but then the way it was written about what he was doing was even worse. It almost made me not want to listen any more.
I loved the character of Jo. Thought the way she was read and her whole behavior was wonderful.
Young, carefree, enjoyable
I had a tough time with Kevin in the end and how it was read.
I liked the twist at the end. Thought that was a nice addition.
The romance and the characters... well thought out plot that is surprising and exciting.
Actually, this book reminds me of the movie "Sleeping with the Enemy"
Listening to someone read with excitement and suspense beats trying to read it and think it to yourself. I love listening to books over and over again, but I don't usually read a book more than once.
Wouldn't rename it... Can't think of a better name.
At the top. This was a really great book that I couldn't stop listening to.
Not sure since I didn't read it. But she did a great job.
I wouldn't change it.
Great love story!
When Katie read the envelope given to her by Alex.
First one, she did a nice job.
Made me tear up...
I am male and usually read more serious titles, this is a "chick book"...but I truly enjoyed!
This was one of the best narrations of a book I've listened to... Rebecca Lowman was wonderful with accents and voices for all the characters, and made them all original and recognizable. The story was heartwarming and suspenseful. I never wanted to get out of the car when I got to work because I wanted to keep listening until the end! Recommended for anyone who likes romance & suspense.
Some twists or turns. Story is so predictable.
No. I can just tell them what it is about in a few sentences.
Not unless something really interesting happens in the life of two children, father and step mother living a great life in a small town where everybody knows your name.
Mother of 3, grandmother of 6, retired nurse and substance abuse counselor. Thrilled to have the time to read or listen to books again.
it would appear that no matter what topic Mr. Sparks chooses to write about he manages to grab your interest and does not let you go until the very end. a wonderful story teller even with unpleasant subject matter such as this. he had me crying at the end which to my surprise was not about the main character after all, a lovely ending that i truly did not see coming.
the narrator did an excellent job as well, all in all a good listen.
Heartful, surprising, and well-written
I liked how Nicholas Sparks wrote the perspectives of both characters and flipped back and forth between present and past.
The very end...don't want to give it away!
