Oh Missy just too quickly does she do her tricks and too easily does she get out of trouble. Drug sellers are just not quite that stupid no matter where you are .
This series is based in Australia, yet reader doesn't try in the least to bring any accent into her reading. Really takes a great deal from story.
I only listened to part of this book and was stressed the whole time.
Couldn't get past the reader's nasally voice and her bad accent. I think with another person doing the performance I would have loved it.
I ended up returning it. Too bad. Nice try Audible and thanks for the flexible return policy. I will continue to order other books and I love your service!
I liked the story, although part of the ending was distasteful to me. The characters are interesting. The narrator is good when she goes into a character voice, but her voice is very flat during the rest of the narration.
Probably not-- very light weight though entertaining in parts
This is part of a series but I gather they don't follow this subject--just Phrynne the main character.
It is a good book to listen to when your mind doesn't want to be burdened. The heroine's sexual dalliances are gratuitous but obviously part of her persona. I thought at times I stumbled into a seamy romance novel.
I found it somewhere in between Agatha Christie and Janet Evanovich style of writing. Easy to listen, catchy story line, witty, slightly unrealistic but nevertheless interesting. going to order more books in this series.

Great story. Great protagonist. Too much fun. This is a wonderful book and Stephanie Daniel did a terrific narration.
