I love reading but don't have time. The audiobooks allow me to hear the books I want to read. I love audible!
That Darcy and Ethan ended up together. I think he was the best person for her and could handle the spoiled brat. I didn't see that actually coming until the middle of the book.
Yes, I loved Something Borrowed
Yes, because I went to see Something Borrowed and I always check out the sequel.
I normally like series of books but was hesitant to listen to this one as the person I thought was the main character in the first book was not the main character in this book.
I was pleasantly surprised with the book even though you knew the ending almost right from the start.
Wouldn't be a book to read again but it was a nice listen.
I wouldn't make this a film.
For light and fun listening, good audiobook.
If you liked Something Borrowed, you'll enjoy the continuing drama of Darcy. But the narrator's voice is really irritating because its so whiney.
The end (don't want to spoil the ending).
The Drama Queen goes on. . .
The reader uses a sing-song voice for the chacter Darcy. I get that she is supposed to be spoiled, etc. but the way it is read is very distracting from the story.
I like Emily Giffin as an author, and the follow-up to Something Borrowed was something I looked forward to. I won't listen to it again, I'll just buy the book and read it!
Get someone else to read it!
This is one of my favorite books. It was great. I was not so sure about it in the beginning, but it only got better as it went along. There is a point in the book when you just fall in love with the characters and the story.
Love a good story and will read just about anything except Sci-Fi, Supernatural/Zombie/Vampire novels. Not snobby--don't enjoy them.
Although a bit predictable, this sequel to Something Borrowed is a fun read. You don't have to read the first book to understand the back story because the author does a good job of reviewing the past events. Typical chic lit, but it is nice to see the main character change and evolve into a decent person by the end of the story. Of course, the character is so vile in the beginning, she has no place to go but up! It won't raise your I.Q., but it is a great beach book.
I own a small shop selling custom/costume Jewelry. I love to listen to audio books while I create jewelry. I love all animals and get very upset when they aren't treated well, even in fiction.
My absolute favorite! It is wonderful dark comedy, almost gallows humor.
Darcy at the beginning--- don't we all know a Darcy? Her sense of entitlement, and delusions of grandeur are hysterical!
Yes, and I love her narration skills. This is the best one I've heard!
To laughter, when she is giving Markus a hard time on her birthday...
I have probably listened to this book a dozen times since I bought it.
Somewhere in the middle. It wasn't the worst thing, but there were parts that were dull or annoying.
It was good. A nice ending to the plot line.
She didn't try too hard, it was a nice balance for each of the characters.
No - it was your standard chick-flick.
Not the great American classic novel but an entertaining sequel nonetheless
I did enjoy that the author switched points of view in this novel and did a good job doing so.
I absolutely love audible! I read constantly and there is nothing better than finding a new series to follow. I'm a syfy/fant kinda gal.
This was a great book. I don't tend to see these kinds of moral dilemas in books that you really seem to root for the 'bad guy'. But this is the exception. I really liked this bok and found it not too far off from the movie. It is an easy read that leaves you feeling pretty good.
